To be honest with you, I haven't been a fan of her recent covers. I felt like she over does her vocal parts in them. And, I was [ ] <-This close to unsubscribing. But for this one, it felt right to my ears. Real simple overall composition, acoustic guitar, piano, and some vocals around. I'm glad I stuck around with the channel. Side note: this song brings out some sadness that I haven't been feeling in a while. It's a weird kind of sadness, can't really explain. But, I guess it's good to feel this sadness. The presence of this emotion let's me know I'm alive.

Hey tumblr, Haven't seen you in a while. I just wanted to share to you ladies and fellas the amazing duo that is The Civil Wars. This song shows us that you don't always need to 3484283 chords in a song to make a good one. The melodies and harmonies are sick. Blah blah blah, etc. etc. etc. Gonna stop talking now.
