An attempt at monster design, vaguely linked to Zaira’s story.
More horror for you
I know the song Морячка is not all this serious, but I like how some of its lines can be associated to a story I wrote, and so I drew a few panels for it.
Featuring the Captain and the mermaid that tortures her with visions of her dead lover.
Creepy content continues…
Snippets from comics that I have inserted in my portfolio last year.
The first two and the last two are from original stories I’ve written; the panel in the middle features Herbert West and the Narrator.
More Lovecraft and even more lovecraftian…
These women are the protagonists of some stories I’ve written who have left the human realm.
The ones on the top are victims of their own stories: they are the Bored one, the Alienated one, the Mannequin.
The ones on the bottom are villainous protagonists: the Dream, the Keeper, the Creature.
Some of my original content has horror too :)
Last year I prepared a portfolio to enter art school, and these are the illustrations I inserted in it.
1. OC: A character from a story I wrote, titled “Intrusion IV”, surrounded by the creatures he met in the woods.
2. Richard Upton Pickman staring at his failed works.
3. OC: The protagonist of “Dream I”, looking at and entering into her own reflection.
4. OC: The protagonist of “Dream VII”, who is a non-painter, lying at the feet of her last model.
5. OC: The skald who became king thanks to divine intervention.
The Lovecraft content has never stopped :)
Determined to keep giving myself time for personal painting/mess making. I've been reading the Southern Reach books and I think it jumped out a little on this one
