Boop.
I have been killed. To death.
You seem to be experiencing what I believe the Agents would refer to as a skill issue, A.
Never say that to me ever again
Whatever you say, A.

I am going to keep all the old posts around for archival purposes, but I am having the urge to resume using this blog by refurbishing it as a Ruinacorp gimmick RP blog, by which I mean I am changing very little other than how I am using it.
Worth mentioning I might not be extremely active as my energy levels and ability to motivate myself are known to fluctuate. Also my notifications are a bit broken at the moment so I might be slow to respond.
That is all.
Footsteps approach. "I have to say, seeing it in person from an outside perspective, that form is somehow even more unsightly than I thought."
It is not a good look for me, is it? I can see why you had mentioned your skin rotting…
[ A solemn stare at his arm, coated in bandages, slightly oozing with the copper-ish colored liquid seen in Yesod’s Core Supression. It reminds him of times when he was so young, fresh out the W Corp offices… ]
Yesod stares sternly at C with his arms crossed (as usual). "It wasn't a good look on me either, for the record, but it needed to happen one way or the other. I suppose you are in a similar seat."
[ A sigh. Lowering his arm. He just looks very defeated. ]
I suppose this was always going to happen regardless. I had remembered things that aren’t even my own memories, this was bound to happen, this long, agonizing distortion…
Yesod observes C in silence for a few seconds. "Tell me, do you think you'll be like this forever?"
…I don’t want it to be permanent. I just finally want to be normal again.
[ He doesn’t like the idea of being stuck permanently in this. ]
"Manager, while my memory of what transpired while I was in that state is limited, I can tell you that back then it felt like it would never end."
Yesod closes his eyes to prevent a shudder.
"Of course, in the end that was not the case. In the end things worked out, and I would like to remind you who is to thank for that."
…I know what I did. I saved you all from the cycle. At the cost of a life that could’ve been, and my very own future, I completed the germination. I dissolved into the Light as I watched it grow.
[ C goes quiet for a bit, curling into himself slightly. Then speaking again. ]
I simply could not save myself at the end of it all, falling into her clutches…
"Indeed, none of us saved ourselves, and you shouldn't have to, either. We all owe you that much, employees and Sefirot both."
Yesod looks even more serious than usual.
"Things will work out for you, too."
Footsteps approach. "I have to say, seeing it in person from an outside perspective, that form is somehow even more unsightly than I thought."

"LONDON! WHERE ARE YOU??"
He’s wandering around the bookcases when he suddenly stops in his tracks upon hearing that oh so familiar voice.
“…no…”
"LONDON!! WETHERBY SAID YOU WERE HERE!!"
He’s just…staring. He’s completely frozen in place, his eyes wide as he steps closer.
“T-This- This isn’t real right…? I…”
[Asera turns a corner, making eye contact.]
"London! There you are!"
[She charges him, arms out to tackle-hug.]
His eyes somehow widen even more as Asera tackle-hugs him, before tears start uncontrollably spilling out of his eyes.
“You’re- You’re here. It’s actually you. It’s…actually you…”
"I'm here, Londie~!"
That right there proved to London that without a doubt, that this was the real Asera.
And that prompted him to give her an extremely strong hug while crying his eyes out.
“I-It’s you- It’s actually you- God I’ve missed you so much-“
"...How long was I gone? It feels like I just died recently.."
“T-The last two days…t-that thing wore your skin…I-It was…” He’s hiccuping slightly.
"It's fine now, Londie."
[Asera buried his face into London's shoulder.]
He held him tighter as he kept crying his heart out.
“I-I missed you so much, love.”
"I'm here now. I'm okay."
“I-I…I fucking absolutely adore you. So much. So, so much…so much…”
"Hehe~ I know~"
Yesod walks in, arms THOROUGHLY crossed and eyebrow raised to a significant degree. "Glad to see you are awake and have retained your priorities, Asera."
He seems… disapproving, but not too harshly so. "I will admit I did not know of this, but I am also not surprised."
He’s shocked out of his prior crying fit.
“M-Mr Yesod?!”
"Wait, that's Yesod?? What happened while I was dead??"
Yesod permits himself to let out a sigh. "Is the flesh thing REALLY so surprising?"
"A lot of things happened, there are details I could get into about how Angela betrayed us and then stole and corrupted the light, but frankly I do not think this is the time, place or circumstance to go into that."
"Speaking of said circumstance." Yesod's expression gets stern. Even more so than seems usual on his now human face. "Let me be clear that if I had found out about this back in the corporation I would have ordered you to break it off IMMEDIATELY or face disciplinary action. It would have been an unacceptable liability and a needless additional variable in caring for Abnormalities that could bring countless additional dangers to the table, not to mention the effect it would have had on your capacity for objective risk assessment. Deeply unprofessional and completely unthinkable."
"Hehe, I know~! That's why you didn't find out!"
London tries to desperately wipe his tears away, though he still looks absolutely sopping wet.
Yesod somehow manages to resist the urge to pinch the bridge of his nose, but not by much. "Asera, for the sake of my sanity and our ability to cooperate I am going to pretend I did not hear that brazen admission of insubordination."
"Either way, our circumstances have changed. Our duty is no longer to manage Abnormalities, but rather to do battle with our guests and then sort their books." "Therefore, most of the previously stated risks no longer apply, but the reduced capacity for objective risk assessment remains."
Yesod goes quiet for several seconds. "I will allow it, as long as you can ensure that you will still follow instructions without hesitation and stick to our battle plans."
“Y-Yep…we’ll be able to, Mr Yesod.”
"Of course, Mr Yessy~! I'm great at fighting people, and so is Londie~"
"Never call me that again." Yesod doesn't really expect Asera to comply, but it's the principle.
"Either way, that will have to do. Once both of you have gotten this reunion out of your systems, report to Captain Wetherby for orientation. Clerk Designation Gamma16 is also here but is to be considered out of commission for anything but essential duties. Asera you were not there at the time but they Corroded quite badly and had to be put down, and are still recovering mentally and emotionally after being resurrected."
"I am willing to accept a degree of delay in reporting for orientation just this once considering the extraordinary circumstances, and I will not be in this part of the Floor so as long as you are not too loud..." He decides against finishing that sentence. "In exchange for this leniency, I will be expecting perfect attendance in the future."
Yesod turns around and begins to walk off, but stops right before he turns a corner. "Oh and, Asera?" His fingers tap on the bookshelf as he goes silent for a few moments. "I'm... glad you're alive."
As he resumes walking around the corner and out of sight his retreating footsteps are significantly faster.
"LONDON! WHERE ARE YOU??"
He’s wandering around the bookcases when he suddenly stops in his tracks upon hearing that oh so familiar voice.

-Wetherby
"Hmm? Oh. Hello, Wetherby. Yes, it is me. I hope the tour Gamma provided was sufficient?"
"...why are you looking at me like that?"
She’s practically bouncing in place. “OH MY GOD THEY WERE RIGHT! YOUR…NOT A BOX!”
"...oh that's what the staring is about. Yes, I am indeed human again, emphasis on again for the record. I wasn't always 'a box', though I would be lying if I said I hadn't gotten used to it."
"Is this really this exciting to you?"
“Yes. :3” Wait how did he…?
"…I'm somehow glad you haven't changed. I expect to see a lot of employees coming out of the mess that was the last few days of the corporation a lot worse for wear. We've already had an example of this, as you must have noticed."
"Actually on that point, how is London holding up? I remember they took Asera's demise quite harshly and had not yet recovered from it when the end arrived."
“Well, after he woke up, we hugged and then he left to look for someone! He seemed a bit tired…”
"Hopefully it will subside if he finds who he is looking for and gets some rest. I need him at his best when we are called upon to receive guests, or our entire strategy risks being jeopardized by careless mistakes."
Yesod's brow furrows as he considers the condition of the Floor of Technological Science. "Depending on London's continued state, I might need to rely on you to work with me as the core of our strategy. I know you struggle to remain professional, but I will expect you to be up to this task. If you aren't, Gamma or London might end up getting needlessly hurt. Do you understand?"
“I understand, Mr. Yesod. You can count on me!”
"Excellent. Keep in mind you are no longer in possession of your E.G.O. equipment or the other benefits that came with being an agent, meaning you are significantly weaker now than you were before."
"It might be wise to spar with someone to learn your new limits and get used to fighting without E.G.O., and I will leave your choice of sparring partner to your discretion. Sparring with your sibling would always be a good option, but training with librarians from the other floors is allowed as long as you get permission from their Patron Librarian."
“Alright! I can do that! :D”
"Good. Unless you have something else you wish to discuss, you are dismissed."
“M-MR YESOD?! IS THAT YOU?? IS THAT REALLY YOU?!”
