The Unknown DJ is Announced! C-Gak joins the Rukus Radio Crew!

Hello once again Mainstream Funkateers! We interrupt your regularly scheduled shitty News Feed to bring you some pure AWESOMESAUCE! We'd like to officially welcome the newest Rukus Radio DJ to the family! The one and only C-Gak, Chris Tsagakis! A man of many fames, C-Gak is most widely known for his rhythmic role in the independent warriors, Rx Bandits, Technology and most recently, of C-Gak! Hailing from Long Beach, California, C-Gak will officially be holding down the Rukus Radio West Coast Connection!

Rukus - The App!

Alright gang, here's the skinny! For quite a while now, we've wanted to develop our own smartphone app. One that would ensure you are going to be able to listen to the live stream, and get feeds to our social networks, videos, blogs, etc. Well, it's finally come together in a product we're very happy with. And it's functional!

Moestradamus put the whole thing together, and though it may not be the fancy-schmanciest app available, it works! You can tune in to the live stream, and not worry about whether or not you can find it in another third party app. Unfortunately, at this time, the app is only available for the Android operating system.

Now of course, there's a slight catch. You actually have to work A LITTLE to get it. It will be coming soon to the actual Google Play Store, however for now you can get a direct download and install the app yourself. All very easily. The trick is getting the link. The only way we can actually get it to you at this point is through email. SO, all you have to do is sign up for the brand new Rukus - The Newsletter, and agree to receive our bi-monthly (or whenever we remember to send it out) newsletter. You can securely give us your email address, and we will welcome you with the Rukus Radio Android App attached! Just check the email on your phone, download and install the .apk file (making sure in your settings you allow third-party install), and you're all set! Just click the link below!

Rukus - The Fireside Session!

The first-ever! We're officially opening up the doors to the new Rukus HQ on Monday! We've got an awesome patio spot wired and ready for intimate acoustic sessions! The first one is going down on Monday at 7pmET with Josh We Know! Josh is playing at next weekend's Delandapalooza in Historic Downtown Deland, FL and has been at right-hand man status in getting this 150-band, one-day event off the ground!
