Tfcon chicago is too small to just be in the one ballroom any more. Either they need to find a new space all together or spread out to the level below where the games room is.

Communication from con volunteers wasn't great. I was in line for David Kaye and they took us from the overflow line to the autograph line then after getting to the line they shoved us back into over flow because he needed a break (I dont have a problem with him needing a break i have a problem the staff didn't tell each other this fact.)

Dealers room was crowded. How any one was getting through via walker/stroller/wheel chair ill never know. Con staff and patrons would just stop in cramped aisles and have full on conversations. It was hard to look at anything in artist alley and I was hoping to find some cool stuff. But it was just too crowded. While we were in line there was only one con staffer that tried to keep the lines for Darren, David, and Anthony clear of obstructions. You good xir (sorry I never caught your pronouns) were keeping the three overflow lines and the vendor traffic flowing smoothly.

We met people who came in from Denver and were disappointed by how this was handled. And I agree. I came from Michigan and im disappointed by how it was handled.

Did anyone else feel like tfcon was poorly handled this year?

He shifts, adjusting, helm tilting to look at him before he bites back a hiss. Ghostspire shook himself, turning and darting down the tunnel. He was just slow enough to ensure the other kept up, but if push came to shove he would likely shove Prowl infront of the beast.

It really, really depended on how things played out from here. The tunnel itself twisted and curled, winding around before it dipped sharply down. Ghostspire slid a little, claws digging into the wall and hissing softly. Glancing over at Prowl to see how he was faring.

Prowl wasn’t far behind in the tunnels. Praxians were made to move and scout in areas like this with low visibility and tight corners.  Praxians thrived underground and on the ground.  Prowl glanced up and noticed the other was looking back at him.  He wiggles his door wings, attempting to get an idea of what was behind them.  Nothing was behind them.  Maybe they got lucky and the thing lost their scent.

Prowl relaxed, “I think it lost interest in us.”  He said it as a sigh.  “We should still try to get out of here asap.  I don’t want to know what it’ll do when it regains interest in us.  Do you see a way out of here?”

Prowl taps his stylus against the table as he studies the datapad in his hands.  He’s unsure why this particular issue is causing him so much of a problem.  He doesn’t bother glancing up when his doors twitch and tell him someone is near.  

“Can I help you?” asked Prowl.

'Oh, I love it,' beamed Smokescreen, even though all he's allowed to do is menial work and observing.  'It's what I was made for.  You will love your work too, one day.  It'll come, Prowl.' Smokescreen looks oddly at Prowl for a few seconds and then asks, 'Does the training facility give you any exercises to do at home?  Computational exercises?  We could use some old ones to try new approaches on, see if you get better results.  When you can trust the new approaches, you can apply them to newly-assigned tasks.'

“Yes, kind of,” answered Prowl.  “The only issue is that while it gives me scenarios, they aren’t nearly as robust as the ones that they can give me on the simulator.”  The simulator at the training facility was state-of-the-art, and whatever computers could be found in the consumer market were not going to be as robust as what could be found there.  

“And since I just had a crash, my cache has been manually dumped,” said Prowl.  “So the likelihood of my crashing today is pretty slim.  Chances are high for a crash after spending the day in the simulator,” explained Prowl.

Prowl finds housework relaxing.  He does his best to keep a clean house, but with a kid, that's harder than expected.  Sparklings are rather… messy.

Probably an antique store.  Most of Yoketron's crap survived the war, somehow.  So Prowls got ancient Furniture, obsolete youngling tech, and probably now dangerous sparkling tech.  Prowl could probably make a living selling Yoketrons, now rare and precious ancient technology, to Museums around Cybertron and to their colonies.

The room grows silent after Ghostspire says it. And Prowl focuses his processing power into his door wings, attempting to identify the noise. Claws scrape against the tunnels they are currently in. He can't detect any spark signatures, but the thing that's coming toward them is huge and quadrupedal.

"Looks like a Devolved Whiptail," whispers Prowl in the hope that it won't hear them. "We need to get out of here. Now."

Claws were slow to extend out to their fullest, a second covering for them slipping out and allowing them to 'harden'. Golden visor watching, shifting slowly and carefully. Visor slipped back, forked glossa slipping out a moment to try to get a better smell. Claws shift, adjusting himself. Plating pressed against his frame, watching as he vented.

Helm tilts, a small nod to show he heard Prowl. Pede steps were quiet, helm shifting.

"You're the tactician, what ways best." Keeping his voice barely above a whisper.

Prowl goes quiet for a while, like with most decisions, he doesn’t take it lightly.  Throughout the war, Prowl has had to make calls that put lives on the line, and creating a bad one here could mean death or a fight for their lives, not something Prowl wants to put resources into.  His Tactical computer runs the odds.  

There was a 5% deviation from either path, not strong enough to make a definitive choice.  But he still chooses to go with the path with the higher percentage rate of escape.  

“Take the left one,” answered Prowl.  His Door Wings twitch as the Devovled Whiptail starts making its way back toward their location.  It's running and Prowl can only assume its mad.

“Go-” rushes Prowl.  “Go go, now we have to get moving.”
