What's that on your bookshelf, Pandaren?
“Oh, this?” Tsuragao hefts a rather hefty tome. “It’s a collection of wisdom that I came across in my time in the Broken Isles. A ghostly mage gave it to me - hoping it old be put to some use other than collecting dust!”
Tsuragao grins. “You know, the scholars of the Court of Farondis knew of some Pandaren legends! But not all of them. We’ve added more to the bunch in those long years... It’s good, though, to find a source that isn’t corrupted, compromised, or partially destroyed by the mogu.”
First of all, good to see you being more active on Tsu's blog again! Second of all, well, suppose I'll get the most obvious question out of the way; what's the big guy been up to since the start of Legion?
A whole bunch of things on that question.
First of all - he wasn’t involved with the Peak of Serenity storyline and he’s not a Grandmaster. He was at the Temple of the White Tiger when the attacks happened, and when injured monks from the Peak were brought there, he didn’t stop healing them until he passed out.
After the fallout from the attack on the Peak happened, Tsuragao was summoned before Xuen and given a tool of great significance (Hu-Jue, The Tiger’s Resolve - an ancient masterwork staff almost fifteen thousand years old) on a task of great importance (stop the Legion!)
Since then, he’s been all over the place. His partner and he separated before the events of Legion, then he found love in the arms of a seafaring Pandaren by the name of Hwang Kwahn, a smuggler of hearts and commodities (according to Tsu).

Lots of them. For one, I remembered this blog existed!
For another, I’ve been through a heck of a lot since that last update post. Reblogging some art and some other stuffs in the meantime, to try and add to things.
Questions are welcome, though my ability to answer them may fluctuate with work shifts. To that end, I will answer them when I can!

The mountain of a Pandaren wore his usual white robes, a green hat he’d acquired on one of his travels in Draenor perched atop his head. The soft hat was a lovely touch to his rounded cheeks, the braided sideburns carrying an extra touch of care and what looked like the ornaments one would see on a Winter Veil tree. As he tended to the wok, the apron he wore over his robes would occasionally pick up a spot or two of oil. Yet he kept humming along as he worked over his craft.
The captain of his heart wore a soft sweater with a lovely blue and white pattern that emphasized both his gut and his strong arms. The power packed into Kwahn’s body was at ease – completely content to rest and relax. “You’re certain you don’t want any help in the kitchen?” Hwang Kwahn asked. It wasn’t often the captain had his hands free on Winter’s Veil. Most of the time, the Gilded Serpent was at sea, or in port, and his dinners were spent aboard ship.
Not this time. Not this year – he had someone more than his crew to enjoy the holiday with. His normal chef and his crew had enjoyed a dinner with their captain a couple nights before.

Pandaren headcanons, eh... how about thoughts on pandaren crime and punishment?
The monk’s heavy head sinks a bit as he considers this, his ears flattening visibly. The tear in his right ear seems to flutter a bit. “I think sometimes there is a rush to condemnation.” He spoke softly. “Especially in larger villages, like Binan, where appearing good in the public eye can influence whole groups of people... The thought, I suppose, stems from the idea that if something seems wrong, then it should be acted on with all deliberate speed. Yet often the situation is never as simple as it actually seems, and the hasty action can result in greater tragedy down the line.”
His arms folded over his chest. “A man does not choose to steal from a merchant. Circumstances lead him to reach into the man’s cart when he is not looking. His farm might be failing, and he cannot afford to even sell his goods to the merchant lest he fall into debt. Or perhaps he has sold his goods and been cheated. If the merchant should catch the man, and insist on compensation, most guards would agree that the man should be punished.”
“In that scenario, I would say that if the merchant were an honest sort, and knew the struggles of the man coming to his cart, he would not raise a finger or bat an eye to stop him. Has the merchant refused business from the farmer before?” He shrugs. “There are nuances to the situation that a rush to judgment will not catch.”
