I loathe the holiday season. As a kid it marked physical pain and fear and disappointment. As a teen I realized theres no reason for the season. Faith was always misplaced. In my 20s I searched for meaning. I didnt find it. In my 30s my life was filled with life altering illness. I started with a companion I wanted to spend life with...but she couldn't handle me being sick, and abandoned me when I needed her most. 40s health begins returning, but psyche is shattered. I hate winter it brings this season of horrible past memories. I try to look forward because I cant change any of those past events. Basically every year I wish the day after Halloween was January 2nd. So after all that I honestly hope everyone can find peace and happiness in the holiday season. I hope everyone can be surrounded by love and friendship. May your dreams come true. I'm gonna go hug my doggies and try to shut off my brain for the next week.
