it’s a fine day to remember that Valentina cares more about being popular with her young fans than she cares about her friends and fellow season 9 queens who are getting death threats and a barrage of transphobic and racist comments in her name!

Reminder that she apologized on the Reunion and posted an instagram video saying not to say racist/homophobic things to the other queens. Although maybe not enough, at least it shows that she is only human and that this will hopefully lead her to be more vocal on these issues in the future. Spread positivity and hope for the best! ❤️

ok…and? the apology came long after the problem started. after the reunion was shot where queens like alexis confessed to calling her in tears over what was said by val’s fans. after aja posted a series of screenshots of horrific comments directed at her. after queens suffered months of disgusting racist and transphobic verbal abuse and death threats. after she became incredibly defensive during the reunion, even going so far as to telling farrah to shut up when she tried to speak to her.

val’s apology video was very topical and basic. it was way too little way too late. there is NO way she didn’t know what was happening, especially when other queens like shea and sasha took to twitter to remind their own fans to keep it in check when there wasn’t even nearly as big as a problem from them.

valentina knew, and she benefitted from the legions of angry children coming to her defense. her silence was total compliance. idk if you’re trying to get me to give valentina respect but she is doing FAR too little to deserve any kind of respect. i’ll need to hear something more than “i love you guys but don’t be racist uwu” from her before i have any respect for her as a human. sry.
