Rurouni Kenshin Week 2015: Jinchuu → Day 5: Trust & Betrayal - Tomoe & Violence

Tsuiokuhen has a special place in my heart. The final scene where Hiko looks over the graves turns me into a sobbing wreck every damn time. So I didn’t giffed that or anything else equally nice and heartbreaking. Just a bit of strangely violent bits with Tomoe.

One thing that Rurouni Kenshin showed me that I never thought was possible is that second love can be just as romantic as the first love.

In fact, it can be more beautiful because learning to love again after being broken by the tragedy of the first love is redeeming oneself from the pain that initially didn’t seem possible to heal from.
