Muppet Fact #1814
The Electric Mayhem once intended to "Tell Lips he's adopted!" on April 1st, as an April Fool's joke.

Imagine being a human in the Muppet world
Can you imagine a whole race of people who are anthropomorphic animals and three-foot tall monsters, with the occasional exception of monsters like Sweetums and Big Bird who tower over you
Not to mention they're just wildly chaotic for the hell of it
Hitting an animal with your car is already extremely stressful, but imagine having to stop and make sure it wasn't also a person
Imagine getting out of your car and approaching the animal and they get up fucking unharmed and ask you for a ride, and you kinda just have to because you hit them with your fucking car
And now because they're a muppet, you get unwillingly sucked into some kind of ridiculous side adventure you didnt ask for on your drive home from work
Imagine hearing the old church collapsed and then finding out, "Oh it was just the Electric Mayhem, yeah that makes sense."
Or hearing about a guy who solved a murder case he wasnt even involved in and realizing, "Hey, that's the frog who runs my local theater."
Or imagine driving out of town for a business trip and, "Wait, is that a bear driving a studebaker..?"
Tricking your best friend into getting some exercise!
Noragami-esque Eugene sketch
Ok while I’m UWO posting I’m just gonna reiterate something I’ve deffo said before: I still forgive Boss after the end of Charlie in Underworld
What he did, to everyone, was awful. Especially to River because it made her feel irredeemable when she was a genuinely good person filled only with guilt for things beyond her control
But the reason I forgive him is because he never forgave himself. His shadows never waned, he even darkened as the others discovered the truth. He whispered “you are my sin” in the timeline where Eugene becomes a monster because he mislead him into believing he was one
Boss hated himself for what he did, what he said, what he had them believe, but he did it all because he was so terribly, horribly lonely. It’s all over his backstory, even his own mother didn’t love him
And when the dust finally settles and the story comes to a close, a few scarce rays of hope emanate from Boss’s neck. He starts to forgive himself, and he leaves to pursue that forgiveness on his own. That’s why I forgive boss, because I know he’s trying to atone
Anyway I tried to keep this post as spoiler-free as possible. Go play Underworld Office if you haven’t already… Charlie In Underworld is a harder recommendation tho because I never actually finished it 😅 (the “good” ending was just too darn sad man, how was I supposed to survive the bad ends?!)

girl i fear im the worst person to ask. i play minecraft and that is the extend of my gaming career. im a fake gamer. anyways since ive made that clear i do have a fondness for eugene from underworld office. its one of the only 'games' i have played fully independently and not just as a hang out activity.
i played the mobile version of it at a time where i was like right in the middle of the universal 'i might not be a girl' phase and also all the angst that comes with it, and while i dont think i really thought of it at the time, or really afterwards, Eugene was a very important rep i needed at the time. its been years since ive played the game, so my own perspective of the plot and overall quality might not be accurate to reality, but I do know that younger me found comfort in this wimpy kid and thats all the really matters in retropsect if u ask me lol.
they really are like EXACTLY what i wanted to be as a awkward young queer kid and while that is not at all true nowadays i can still love eugene and thus love younger me through them. idk. its a mobile game about ghosts and depression and 11 yo me thought it was the best story ever.
Damn it, I really love this game!😭✊
