What is this Blog?
This is my writing/creative account for anything I’m really focused on for a minute. My own little projects. My main account is @nightly-ruse and I’d suggest checking it out for far more consistent posting the here!

Okay thinking thru the coven stuff and my other story with trickle down and I might connect them.
With the covens the three groups are: The Coven of Plantrise, The Coven of Clawdrawn, and The Coven of Bloodshed. Each started from different origins with Clawdrawn being the first made and Plantrise being the last.
The characters I’ve thought of so far are Aipyrr (aye pair), Growl, and Orious. Tho I may go back to more traditional names.
They have a theme of The Sacrifice, The Slayer and The Survivor.
Now onto Trickle-Down the three main characters are Spritz, Sapphire, and Snowshoe. They have a very similar theme pretty much exactly.
Sooo what I thought of is what if during the main plot of Trickle-Down there are snippets, maybe in prologues or epilogues, that tell the stories of the ones that came before?
I’m going to once again completely change trickle down lol to fit better to the before and their vibe tho it it’s different. Idk I think it’s cool tho.
Agh now thinking of a slight name tweak for the wings ppl please help I need to know which sounds better
For the water loving forest cats:
Wealdwater (current name)
Riverwoods (lotta rivers in their woods)
Copsecoast (for their shoreline)
Boskbrook (bosk means small forest)
Oh yeah since people wanted to see more about my fantasy world and current project (The immunity) I ramble a lot over here about my current ideas and what directions I’m wanting to go. Not as much art though I want to do some sketches to try and put my ideas on paper

I’m just going far more fantasy and I don’t know if it fits as well, and ties it too closely with Warriors for my comfort. Tho I don’t know if i want to do real names, fake mashed names or nature names.
Ex:
Gildedthorn -> Gloria -> Galtalia -> Glory (flower)
I don’t know if I want to go more to go more to the structured way either. Like characters have a specific title before or after their name to signify where they reside. So I’ll grab Glory as a example and put like Glory Pyre in front of her name or Jasmine Pyre, as a easy way to tell that these characters are from the Pyremire.
Another thing I’m iffy on is how developed I’m wanting to make them. Kinda shooting them forward more then the original draft tho not so far they have ships or buildings. More like woven camps, trade routes, and a lot of art. Sort of constructing other groups around them more so the Hoard is there along with a fox group and merchants mostly consisting of Raccoons. Also wanting some evolved bat group that can get them silk or fertilizer
I have come up with a very fun substitute for humans and how my cats can access certain things. :))))
Kinda going back on my decision to just cut humans out of the world. I think their supplies and effects could make the story better as well as adding more differences between cats, from wilder backgrounds and house cats.
I still want to keep them in a fantasy world with radiation in spots but they do have humans, or maybe human like beasts idk

Agagahag okay more babbling and reworking my cats but I’m kind of thinking of their past, they used to be under one reign and were just called The Veiled and run by one leader
After a civil war broke out they split into the wings now, marked by each wing of their previous symbol of a cat with a bat wing, bug wing, bird wing, and finned wing. Though they stayed together as a whole they now were split apart adopting the name of The Immunity.
Reworking it so they’re less wc and even more my own. Each group has different leadership styles, politics, and policies though there are a main code they’ll follow.
My ideas for how the groups work together, they are sorta like a small town but if it was split into sectors each with different views and cultures.
I’ve also been toying with them having very different political systems, with the Terrafield not having one leader but multiple from each job one who is the chosen speaker for gatherings.
Cats often have friendships and partners across wings and it only really becomes mucky if there’s currently drama between two groups or if kittens become involved. Outsiders are also very common for sires dames and partners especially in the Pyremire
Mystics (cats with particularly strong magic) are tied to every wing and are to be of service when one needs the cats magic. They are allowed mates but kittens can be a little iffy since it can cause fights as wings fight for the home place of the magic born kittens. It doesn’t matter if botanists have kittens it’s just not as common since they are usually pretty married to their job.
The suffix wing is only every given to magic gifted cats and in very rare circumstances. To have it is to announce yourself as incredibly important. Names relating to the sky are also pretty uncommon because of their patrons but it’s not banned.
Remembered that I wanted each Wing to have some distinctive trait and am stumped.
Swamping things around a lot two as I’m settling more into the worldbuilding especially with my beloved Pyremire cats. Thinking I’ll have each group have some winged creature as their symbol
Mire: Insect wings, bee specifically
Weald: maybe bats?? Or butterflies idk
Terra: birds suits them best but still iffy
Also need it find a fitting name for this project and world….

Working out more things for the Immunity and tentatively setting up another group for them. Instead of being based on just Fire and Water they are after the elements.
So we have the Pyremire, Wealdwater and Terrafield! Based off fire, water, and ground respectively.
The Immunity now surround a lake (though not a very large one) with prominent attachment to it for varying reasons.
The Weald is a semi tropical jungle with rivers running through it. The Mire is a recovering swamp after a wildfire. And the Field is a large plateau with a ravine that cuts across it.
I’m wanting the Pyremire to be a matriarchal society but I also don’t want it to be demonized. I know I want the current Harbinger (leader) to not be very great but I want to make sure it’s not presented as her being bad bc it is a bad system
So maybe she was put in place in a rare situation? She wasn’t meant to be harbinger by their rules and system but squirmed her way into the role through some twisting of her snake tongue
Gosh I have spent the last three hours writing out the roles of the wings and wow I am even more into them then I thought
Officially boiled it down to two groups the Wealdwater Wing and Pyremire Wing!
The Weald cats resides in a semi tropical jungle with a huge variety of fruits, berries, vegetables, and an incredibly diverse diet of animals. Many rivers flow through the forest with access to both the salty sea and a huge lake that offers lots of delicious fish and the beloved wild koi. They live in a long abandoned and overgrown greenhouse. Hold a belief of found family over keeping blood bonds.
The Mire cats reside in a mix of swampy scraggy area and a long burned area from a wildfire with many pools, caves, and even a huge ravine. Stick to a more carnivorous diet often adding a few spices to their food. Hold claim over the other side of the lake where they throw most of their ceremonies under the full or empty moon. They live in a cavern. Hold of a belief of blood bonds being strongest.
I like Summerweild and Wintermire, it sounds nice and rolls well
I do too. Weald is a older word for forest and ofc Mire is for a swampy sort of area. It works well.
My only snag is I do enjoy the Fallenlands/Searedlands. It’s a stretch of land slowly recovering from a great forest fire long ago with large ravines used by the cats to collect crystals/underground minerals most cannot access. The problem is it’s so different from both the Mire and Weald that I don’t think it can smoothly squish into another group
I am pretty set on Springfields/Firthfields being scrapped though I don’t care for it nearly as much and it’s the least interning to me
Between cutting the Bevy’s down to two groups instead. It’s a lot less stressful to make characters and a lot more manageable
The current groups are the Summerweald, Wintermire, Springfield, and Fallenland
My favorites are probably the Summer and Winter though I do like the Fall as well. The only one I don’t have as many ideas for is Spring
If I cut them down to two I’d probably smoosh the territories as well so Winter/Fall would have a scraggy marshland biome keeping their Cavernous camp. Summer/Spring would be a forest with access to a beach or maybe field area and still keep their overgrown greenhouse camp. I’d probably change their names as well to maybe just the Weald Bevy and Mire Bevy though those aren’t as fun to me. I’ll dive through dictionaries to find a added word to them maybe
Hm thinking about a story idea. I think about these kinda things a lot
Anyone who knows the game Little Misfortune? It’s kinda like that in my head but is a way to teach kids about death and how to deal with it following some anthro character. I feel like more books need to actually teach kids actual things that will help them in life like how to help with emotions, death, life just all sorts of things.
Idk it’s just a idea though
