“The grade doesn’t really matter anyway.” Russell admitted, shrugging his shoulders. “This is my first D this year so it’s not a big deal. I was just hoping my teacher would lighten up. I could have went with my original idea. Which was compare Hamlet to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I wanted to do it just to title it ‘The Fresh Prince of Denmark’. While also having the whole thing go along with the theme song to Fresh Prince.” He mentioned, chucking lightly.

She opened their thread of messages and began typing out a message that didn’t sound clichéd as ‘it’s you, not me.’ “Friends can bring each other food, right? Like, platonically?”

“Sounds to me like you are mostly just keeping him around for the free food.” Russ shook his head letting out a small chuckle. “I think he’s bringing you the most important meal of the day, so you’ll want to be his most important meal of the day. If you catch my drift.” He joked, nudging Alice playfully with his elbow.

“My teacher just doesn’t get humor” Russell huffed as he set a essay with a D minus on it. “All he said was to compare on of Shakespeare’s writings to something more modern. So I of course chose to compare Hamlet to the Lion King. Apparently since The Lion King is basically Disney’s version of Hamlet it doesn’t count.” He rolled his eyes, looking down at his paper with the low grade. “I mean sure it was suppose to be a joke but I actually did a lot of work on it. The least he could have done is give me a C on it.”

she’d once again woken up in a place where she shouldn’t have been. josie’s legs hurt ( when didn’t they, with the amount the practiced ), her headache telling her yesterday had been a long day, a long night. her tight dress felt too tight, her feet aching from her high heels. her mouth was dry, every light too bright. she carefully opened her eyes, only to find someone in front of her. “what ??” she questioned.

Russell had noticed Josie one bench, she seemed to have fallen asleep there. Russell being the worrisome type decided to stay and wait for her to wake. He didn’t want anything to happen to her, but he also didn’t want to wake her. She looked looked peaceful. He sat down next to her until she began to stir. He stood up once she was awake. “Sorry, I just noticed you sleeping in such a public place. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I’m not like being creepy of anything.”

“What’s the easiest way to lose a guy?” Alice asked absently while swiping aimlessly through Tinder. “Because apparently blocking him on all social media wasn’t clear enough. I’m not complaining about the free bagels and coffee he brings me before class every morning, but it does not make up for the fact that he’s a clingy, one pump chump,” she concluded, taking a bite out of said bagel. She held out the half eaten bagel to the person sitting across from her, “D’you wanna bite?”

“Have you already straight out told him you want him to leave you alone?” He questioned as he looked over at the dark haired girl. “I think accepting his bagels and coffee he brings you is kinda sending mix signals.” He glanced down at the half eaten bagel she offered. “No thanks, I already ate.”

EJ back at it again with another bb. Russell is p much the opposite of Johnny boy thought. Here is some info on my other boy Russ. Hmu if you wanna plot with my smol bean

Russell knew he was trans at age 3 and started expressing he was male from then on. Refusing the name he was given and demanding to be called Russell instead

From that point on he was a guy and won’t be told otherwise

He’s a very sweet person and cares about others usually putting other people before him

He realized from a young age in order to fit in with other guys he had to act more masculine than he normally was

Around his guy friends he acts more like a typical guy but he avoids being disrespectful at all cost and is usually the only one in his friend group to be the most rational 

He plays football and baseball but sports are just a fun pass time

His true passion is anything music related. He loved playing, listening, and creating music. He is even a member of the school’s choir.

He plans on going to college for music after high school
