It’s #TaylorSwiftCityofloverconcert and I’m so happy to live it again !!!!!!

It all started with that magical day of May 25th 2019. A French Radio that found my band online contacted us to sing a surprise song to @taylorswift while on her ME! promo tour <3 That was a dream come true.

Flash forward to LOVER being released to the world. That same radio announced that Taylor’s private release party concert, the #CityOfLoverConcert was going to take place in Paris, in one of the most beautiful and historical venue in France. There were billboards of Taylor all over the town, the Internet was going hectic, and the radio wouldn’t stop talking about that huge event. I tried so hard to win tickets, playing all contests on radio and online until D-Day. I wasn’t assured to go to the concert until last-minute, when Taylor’s French team at Universal Music reached out to offer tickets to my bandmates and I as a thank you gift for the surprise song from the radio event... What a ride. Y’ALL. What a ride!!!! ALL CHILL LOST. @taylornation

That concert was beautiful. We got to stand second row on the right side of the stage, and we were so close to her when she sang her acoustic section. I LOVED The Man acoustic, CORNELIA STREET acoustic, and although Paper Rings is my favorite song of #LOVER, and unfortunately she didn’t perform it, the acoustic guitar version of DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS made it my new favorite song of the record.

We danced so hard on Shake it Off and You need to calm down, and I gotta admit, I teared up when she sang All too well on the piano. And Lover. DUH. BAWLING.

Non-stop singing all lyrics of course, never forgetting our 1,2,3 LGB on Delicate, or our awaited “PARIS” loop on Blank Space. Even attempted a “Hey Kids, Paris is fun!” on ME! which was a pure fail btw, as everyone else was emotionnally indulging in the “spelling is fun” part that went missing on the album. Well, I tried.

STARS IN MY EYES. All night. Of course we ended up taking a picture with the HUGE red letters TAYLOR SWIFT. And I also left with lots of those goodies bracelets from the concert, to do a little giveaways on Twitter. It was quite a small venue, and a trip to Paris for a private concert is not that easy to plan for international fans. So I thought about sending a little souvenir from that day, to swifties that couldn’t be there. From Canada, to Turkey, to Australia, to the South of France, I sent out a dozen of #Cityofloverconcert bracelets to fans with a small note to bond beyond borders, with a flyer of my band to tell this incredible story. *

I even got to know new international swiftie who wasn’t able to buy Lover the CD in her country, so in the package with the concert bracelet I joined one of my #Lover CD + booklet (from the 4 Deluxe editions I had bought...) my band flyer, and my band’s CD. Because you CANNOT miss the #Lover masterpiece. She received it well and sent me a huge thank you note. Sweet memories....

I’m currently in my flat, alone, in Paris, about to go to sleep. I’m so happy right now, cause tomorrow we get back to work with my band, after the isolation times due to quarantine, it’s been so long I cant’ wait.

But tomorrow is also the release of #TaylorSwiftCityOfLoverConcert video on Disney+ and I CANT FIND MY CHILL. PERIOD.

Why it was important for the world to listen to "Soon you'll get better" for #Togetherathome

We get it. Taylor mentioned it a few times now how sad and how deep is this song's meaning. And how painful it would be to ever sing it live. But on this Saturday she did, for millions of viewers across the Earth. Half of our planet's population is dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic by staying home. This thing has impacted the lives of more than half of the global population, something our generation will remember even beyond years. At this point, we all know a relative or an acquaintance, that contracted the virus, we all know someone from our relatives or acquaintances who is a Health Staff, a nurse, a doctor, a emergency line phone dispatcher maybe, and we also all know someone who has to keep working to save our lives, to keep our country running and helps feeding, delivering, protecting, cleaning our world. Unfortunately at this point also, we all know someone who lost a relative battling this virus.

Taylor being the queen of story telling, there hasn't been one situation in my life that never matched a Swift song to relate to. And this past Saturday, she humbly shared her very personal very difficult experience through this country ballad for the world to relate. For each of us to relate to one another, because we're all in this together, there will be time for laughters and happiness when all this is behind us. But right now, even though it is important to stay mentally healthy and not dive into anxiety, we are mourning our losses. We are praying for our relatives to come home healthy after their day at the hospital. We are hoping very hard our friend that works at the grocery store is protected properly and the nursing homes are ok. We just want them to know that we think about them, we relate to them, just like it is so easy to relate to any Taylor's song. We are sending our thoughts to all the families that are separated, and those who are forced to stay confined in a very small place.

Yes it must have been difficult to sing this song and play it for millions of viewers. But thank you for doing T. Thank you for showing that it's ok to be vulnerable right now. And this act of generosity proves that @taylorswift can set aside her own battles; all of our personal problems seem to be frozen now, put on pause, when we face a bigger issues that affects the whole world.

Of course cancer, diseases unfortunately haven't disappeared over night, but thank you Taylor for making this beautiful song about a bigger picture, it mustn't have been easy for sure, but it was magnificent. Thank you for voicing all of us that are voiceless today but just want to express that we're all staying home to help at our level, and we're all in this #togetherathome.

And soon, we'll get better.
