My second trip to Co Op City for my final project idea.

Theme 1. My theme is about the "hidden gems" of Co Op City in the Bronx. I wanted to document people enjoying themselves on Co Op City's greenway, on a warm Sunday evening. I also took photographs of apartment buildings.

In Class: Student work and discussion

Assignment for next class : Staring with the two themes you established last week, and using feelings and thoughts about them, write a proposal for your final photographic project. What will be your subject and form for your final project? Write a description of it as you understand it at this time. Post 20 or more photographs which relate to the ideas to tumblr.

Next week each student will give a short, no more than five-minute presentation, to the class about their project idea, a proposal. Visual projections should be used (and saved to google drive). A written proposal must be posted as a google doc to your folder. A link to your Google Drive should be posted to tumblr along with enough photographs to satisfy you. Questions? Ask

These images were taken last week, on a saturday in the Co Op City section of the Bronx. I wanted to document people spending time with their friends and family at night while staying safe from covid-19.

Theme: Politics

Since election day is coming soon, I chose these three pictures as a reminder that no matter who we vote for or what our opinions are, we as American citizens should always stick together and stand against racial discrimination and violence.

For this class assignment, this is my first time posting my pictures in black and white on a social media app, such as Tumblr. To me, I like my photographs in color because I get to see the reality of it. However, B&W photographs seems to give more emotions.
