Little aspects of Black culture
Theme 2: My exploration of the African Diaspora. i am fascinated to explore people from different backgrounds who find ways to feel solace, even when they are not in their own country, continent, or neighborhood.

Theme #2: Humanity.
Humanistic photography is one of my pursuits. Human beings are special because they have special emotions. Friendship, family, love, these are what we pursue. I want to get out into the city, whether it’s Manhattan or some of the more remote towns. Through the camera to record people’s most real state and emotion. These photos will be more like a snapshot, with no human intervention. This is the complete opposite of my first topic. The theme seeks the acme of truth. I want to see people’s states, expressions, emotions. Perhaps it is the appearance of a daze, happy appearance, angry appearance and so on.
A glimpse of people in their everyday lives.

I love how it’s just a body part, but the close up makes it look like it’s part of the scenery, like it’s a structure.
We all are mysteries to each other; however we all have the innocent side and the fierce side
The second theme is African Diaspora. The development of the Black culture over time, from loving oneself skin tone to coming together as people to fight for basic rights African Americans were denied for centuries. As the years continue, I can definitely say there has been an extraordinary transition of people of color reconnecting with their roots, but also finding a balance between their culture and the American culture.
The first theme is the interaction we have between beings, especially during a time like this. People are truly embracing their loved ones in different ways. For instance, they are celebrating each other, and enjoying every moment they have with one another. They also are reconnecting with one another, and enjoying those intimate moments.

I love when the sky shows you its beauty through the use of colors. It’s almost as if it was tie dyed.
At home cooking chicken with rice and peas. The sauce is homemade and a family recipe.

I love this painting and how the painter used colors that bring out brown skin like the red and yellow
The picture is powerful in both ways, but the green truly brings out the color in her face and cheek. In the colorful picture, her hair is in braids, but in the black and white photo, it’s difficult to take notice. Overall, I enjoy the colorful image more because it truly captures a part of the Harlem culture
