“Understanding the Relevance of Information and News Literacy in the Midst of Social Era”

 The relevance in understanding the information and news literacy in the Midst of social era has changed significantly through evolution of traditional to new media since it is fundamental for us to have a decent comprehension of information since it will assist us with recognizing authentic realities. This generation we are very lucky to have a new medias however, it also has its flaws such as being prone to instantly believing whatever news you read on the internet, that’s why we have Information and News Literacy to guide and help us distribute the information we wish to convey publicly or absorb regardless of how old or what generation we belong.

    As the new era offered technologies together with the social medias to us, it is important to be cautious of the information being spread and shared during this time. This era provides a better and easier communication with everyone around the globe, it also made our lives easier especially this pandemic  for some of these technologies has enabled us to work and study at home. On the contrary advanced era like this causes a lot of misunderstanding and misleading for people can make pages and dummy accounts in  some social media platform like for instance in Facebook, people has the freedom to create pages and post information, and because of this the credibility of an information will be a problem for some of us and it is very alarming for some people who are new to social media and doesn’t now how to find the verified and quality information under it. As we are part of literate people we must understand the relevance of information and news literacy in the midst of the social era because it is not just for our own knowledge but for us to be responsible for our own actions.

“Media Evolution and the Changing World”

     Evolved or in other term upgrading is the one of most important to keep us survive in the world we lives that's why media is evolved in change of world because people will keep changing their lifestyle also media can be keep changing also. The media allows us to stay informed about current events across the world and interact with people who share our interests. We can obtain a large amount of information on a range of issues through the media. Our impressions of the world around us have changed as the media has evolved from old to new. Conventional forms of communication, such as cave drawings, newspapers, and the telegraph, are more traditional, but modern media is participatory and social. As the media has gotten more social, it has become a far larger part of our lives than ever before. The media shaped history both then and now. It had grown into a sophisticated multidisciplinary tool that allowed people to create content, engage with one another, and even escape reality. Today, we can transport data from one end of the planet to the other in seconds, deliver online presentations, live in parallel "virtual worlds," and use images, video, voice, and text to reveal our actual lives, our authentic identities.

    The media has the ability to impact people's thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. Individuals are more ready to accept information if they believe others have accepted it as well, therefore the information builds a common understanding of a norm and increases social coordination in the positive influence. Our world has changed as a result of the evolution of the media. Technology and the way we communicate through media have had a profound impact on society, moving it forward from the industrial to the networked era. In our age, global information is a crucial infrastructure, and this has had a tremendous impact on interpersonal interactions. It has evolved into one of the most powerful agents of social transformation.

“The Value of Being a Media and Information Literate Individual”

   Presently, the media and information literate define it as informed to individuals. Today we are living in the 21st  century where we currently use high-tech technology such as computers, laptops, cell phones, and digital technology. Media is very crucial in our daily lives, especially for teenagers like ourselves who utilize social media. We use this to get information to others or individuals and with this media and information literacy who give us information to take advantage of our modern world that we currently live in today. Currently, it is very important for individuals to value information which is very important in today's generation, young people must value this because of this we cannot live peacefully. We might face any hard problem directly but with this literacy, we can control the problems that we might face.

   Being well-educated about media and information will give us advantages in our modern world today, especially when it involves providing and collecting information that best knows much of the false information in various media, particularly in the media. The best value of being a media is that the idea of becoming a source of data and having the ability to translate the knowledge through the media. As we value this we can face a lot of positive views like we can enjoy our human rights, it can improve quality to the individual life and more. With the value we can have the freedom to the world we currently live also we can help others.
