#the demon who still has faith and the angel who’s losing his
David Tennant irl: dorky dad vibes
David Tennant in literally any role:
Can we all just appreciate that when Aziraphale was playing Crowley, he played him far cooler and sexier than Crowley had portrayed himself the entire show. Crowley is a dork, but that isn’t how Aziraphale sees him. He genuinely believes Crowley is the suavest and coolest being he knows.
And Crowley plays Aziraphale as incredibly brave, yet extremely forgiving and kind to the end. Someone who shows no weakness even when faced with destruction.
Just the fact that they each see the other as the best version of themself is so incredibly sweet and perfect to me.
I must say I love Crowley’s ‘not the kids’ in the Noah’s Ark scene. It shows that Crowley is the best of them, not a demon who would kill a kid because he would enjoy it / not care, or an angel who would do it and think it’s right just because the Almighty said so. And it especially shows that Crowley didn’t fall because he was ‘evil’, he just fell because he didn’t fit there. He didn’t fit the the angelic assholes so he tried to hang around the demonic assholes and thus fell with them. He is not like them either but he’s making the best of it.
What I love about Aziraphale-as-Crowley saying ‘tickety-boo’ as he’s brought down is that it SHOULD be a massive tell, but it isn’t because as the viewer you just go, oh yes of course he’s picked that up from his ineffable husband.
crowley as the fallen archangel raphael (insp)
crowley & aziraphale have witnessed or heard firsthand about all the most important moments in human history so like whenever historians get it wrong they must just kinda be like
Bold of you to assume Crowley and Aziraphale took any notice whatsoever of significant events that were happening around them. They’d probably point at something like “ooh that’s one for the history books, watch” while ten miles away something like the sacking of Constantinople is happening and they don’t even hear about it until a decade later, and the thing that they thought was going to be a big deal Really Fucking Wasn’t, Actually
sorry just thinkin about how EASY it would have been for rtd and the bbc to just ignore the whole “rose tyler, i-” thing in journey’s end. they absolutly did not have to have tentoo finish that sentence for rose but they DID and they did it for US. anyway just my nightly thanks to rtd for the love and tenderness

One of my students turned in a paper arguing that Hamlet and Macbeth both view death as a solution to their problems and the only difference is that Hamlet wants to kill himself and Macbeth would rather kill everybody else and I honestly treasure this insight.
Good omens is a romance between aziraphale and crowley and the end of the world is just happening in the background honestly
Me watching David Tennant engage in a slow burn romance in Good Omens still not over his last slow burn romance from Doctor Who
Regardless of how you wrote Aziraphale and Crowley (as friends or partners), do you support your queer fans who can see themselves in them?
Absolutely! (And I wrote Aziraphale and Crowley as a love story, in the TV version.)

“Two Ineffable Husbands and One Troublesome Nephilim” - Digital Oil Painting
“Ooh, Daddy… Papa has made some truly scandalous scribbles in the margins of his old angel handbook!” “What? Let me see!” “You told her to call you ‘daddy’?” “I like it!”
Angels and demons don’t mate. Or at any rate, there had never been a precedent for it… until now. In one spectacular accident, Aziraphale and Crowley ended up with a sassy half-angel, half-demon offspring.
