Kyungmin chuckled at her words, grinning down at her. “That’s not totally untrue, but that’s not the reason why. Work’s actually the reason I’m early,” he explained. “My schedule finished earlier than expected, shockingly, and I knew I would be waiting for a while so I thought I’d walk and meet you rather than sit around and get bored.” The man let out a proper laugh at her slightly nonsensical words. Eungi certainly had a strange sense of humour, but then so did he, just in a different way. He shook his head, replying, “Sometimes, I really have no idea what you’re on about. That was, like, half compliment, half insult. I don’t know whether to be flattered or offended.”
His eyes widened and he let out a slight noise of surprise as Kyungmin suddenly found himself being tugged away, eyes widening. Thankfully, he didn’t trip or anything, as even with her rushing due to their height difference she’d walked barely more than a couple of strides for him. “Whoa, slow down. Your boss isn’t gonna do that - your shift’s finished now, so they can’t just drag you back in. You’re free for the rest of today, at least.” He squeezed her hand briefly before letting go. Although they both knew that they were just friends, anyone who happened upon them wouldn’t, and if there were anything that would create a scandal immediately it would be that. Plus, it was a little weird for them to hold hands for a prolonged time if they weren’t a couple. “Hey, you’ll be fine,” he reassured her, nudging her in the side lightly as they walked. “You’re a good singer and rapper, and you’re a really nice person, so even if you don’t get in the group, there’s very little chance of anyone disliking you. Don’t worry about it so much.”
„Ah now i get it your schedules did end a little earlier than they should. That’s a shame I mean. I hope they pay you full time? I know how it is, believe me even when my boss kicks me out of the café I have to fight to get my hours together because i need the money.” She said with a lot of confidence in her voice, there were pliantly times she wasn’t paid a full hour, because she left some minutes earlier. “If not I’m okay with going back and fight the people for you. I don’t have a problem with that.” Eungi raises her fist into the air before she fistbump the others shoulder. “How can I even insult you? You should try the ugly style I’m sure you can rock it well.” The grin of her lips grow pretty wide as her eyes start to smile as well.
Eungi didn’t even notice that Kyungmin struggled a lot through their height difference, it was normal for her to escape from work, and tugging him along was more of an instinct than anything else. “You really are not familiar to my boss right. But don’t worry I did escape the cream-coffee shower before I left.” She laughed in an amusing and contagious way. The little squeeze at her hand kind of woke her up, it was like a sign he felt uncomfortable holding her hands, holding hand within friends was a common thing so no need to worry about that. A brief look at her own hand she shrugged off her shoulder and looked at the tall giant. “Nah, don’t do that I know how horrible I am. Did you by any chance watched my second mission? Seriously I was about to die inside, I felt so bad I couldn’t even face any of our coaches for hours?” It wasn’t days since she couldn’t help and had to work together with them. But at least she didn’t looked at them for a couple of hours. “I guess like four or five.” Eungi bite her lower lip, slightly happy about his words but sadly she doesn’t really had much fans. “But you know what? I don’t think I’ll be able to debut if I don’t make it into the group, I’m old compared to other trainees.”
