Our original post about this package was under the false assumptions that Mishra triggered when an artifact entered the battlefield. Let that be a lesson to y’all, READ THE CARD! So, with that out of the way, let’s try this again.
Thada Adel, Acquisitor - $2.54
So, how do we get multiple copies of artifacts with Mishra in a singleton format? We use other peoples’ artifacts. Go get their Sol Ring and bring your own along with it because of Mishra.
Aetherflux Reservoir - $2.84
Combined with Possibility Storm, you’ll get 2 triggers every time you cast a spell. We can easily get that second ability up and running to take out at least one person.
Etherium-Horn Sorcerer - $0.35
Two spells for the price of one! This fancy pants Minotaur can bring a friend, ideally an artifact friend, with it. The best part is it’s repeatable! Return it to your hand whenever you need to so you can cast it again and get another Cascade trigger.
Gonti, Lord of Luxury - $0.47
Similar to Thada, but is a one-shot and not restricted to artifacts. So you can go the artifact route to bring in the one in your deck, or you can get something else if it ends up being better.
Vedalken Archmage - $4.00
We might as well draw a card every time we play an artifact. Maybe we’ll get another artifact!
Nullstone Gargoyle - $0.48
This one will help control your opponents and how they play while giving you a way to divert your artifacts to the grave just to be brought back by Mishra. The only downside, and why it’s so cheap, is this sort of nerfs all of your other spells.
Blood Funnel - $0.48
Noncreatures cost less, cha-ching. Sac a creature when you play noncreature nonartifacts and let it counter your artifact for Mishra to bring back.
Possibility Storm - $0.47
What’s a red deck without a little chaos? You’re opponents will be resigned to whatever they get off of Possibility Storm. You, on the other hand, get the card off Storm AND the artifact you cast to trigger it.
There you have it, folks. The correct way to abuse Mishra’s power. We can control the board while letting him work. We can also use our opponents’ artifacts to double up on our own. Let Mishra work his artifact magic and…
