When you play it super cool but you’re actually super bad at talking to new people.
diplomaticintent:
“You’re just going to… pull it off?” Sue heads to a closet nearby and pulls out some pristine white towels- very clearly not intended to catch torrents of blood, almost definitely not from a beheading.
Nadia’s already gotten her head off by the time the question is finished, with surprisingly less blood than you’d expect to come from the now open neck. “Yep!”
diplomaticintent:
“If you can do it without staining the carpet, I’d love to see it.”
“A disembodied head tends to lead to some blood. Got any, like, towels or something just in case?” She’s not really giving much time, given she’s already pressing her hands against either side of her head.
diplomaticintent:
“Oh, is that all?” She had apologized so readily, Sue thought it might have been something actually serious. “That’s his reasoning behind most of the things he does. If you’re cleared with him, then by all means, bug me.”
“I’m.. not actually sure how else to bug you. That’s literally all he said. Uh.. want to see me take my own head off?”
Immediately rats out boss to lower boss.
diplomaticintent:
“It’s not a big deal. Isn’t as if you did anything serious. … what did he tell you to do, exactly?”
“Let’s see... ‘You should bug her since she’s around. Why? Because comedy-- and/or I’m an asshole.’ He said both sooo I just put them together.”
diplomaticintent:
“… Hi.”
“Boss made me do it.”
diplomaticintent started following you
“MEOW!”
puckish-rogue:
“ I’m an asshole! ”
“This is why we can’t have nice things. Boss.”
puckish-rogue replied to your post: “BOSS WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO HARASS PEOPLE?!”
“Cause it’s hilarious.”
“I don’t want to question your authority but what the fuck, man?”
“BOSS WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO HARASS PEOPLE?!”
When you really want to go but there’s fi--
“...well, there’s booze. C-Can I even get drunk? How will he know I accepted it? NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE AND I AM CONFUSED-- BUT OKAY???”
When you wanna go to the pool/beach party but the fish remind you of your kidnapped friend.
When work is kicking your mun’s butt so she doesn’t feel like writing but you want to kick Medici butt.
@bloodlctting
“Boss has told me specifically to tell you to stop being a..” looks at smudged writing on hand. “Dong cuss.”
puckish-rogue:
“ Hmm. ” The silence must be unnerving for the other three. Feels like time has slowed down to a trickle as The Boss continues to stand there—pistol still pointed at the men—his mind going over the information he had just received. The only noise to break up the moment were the ones you’d normally hear around Steelport. Yet even those seemed muffled by the sheer intensity of the situation. No one had any clue what would happen other than the crime lord himself right here.
BANG ! BANG !
A shot had went into the throat of the fat fuck while the other landed right near the skinny asshole’s shoulder. It was clear the former was dead (or at least close to it considering the amount of blood coming out). The Boss makes his way over the other man, kneeling down close to him and placing a firm grip onto his shoulder. ‘Cold’ would be the word to describe The Boss’ facial expression. There is no feeling, no remorse whatsoever for the action. If anything he looks almost pleased with himself. It’s at this moment he finally speaks once again; his voice eerily calm.
“ Here’s what’s gonna happen now; you’re going to go get yourself patched up. After that you’re gonna fly back home and call an immediate meeting with your boss. And once you got him and anyone else important around you’ll tell him about what happened today. But most importantly you’re gonna tell him that The Boss of the 3rd Street Saints is coming to the Canopy Kingdom and he’ll be looking for a fight. ”
To say the tension in the air could be cut with a knife was a lie. You’d need something much stronger to get through that. It turned out that something was the Boss himself, leaving one man briefly gasping for air before silencing himself and the other down on one knee clutching their shoulder. A hiss of pain was heard from them as the hand clasped his shoulder, biting his own tongue while he listened.
“F-Fine..” he growled out, shaking the hand off him as he began stumbling away before The Boss had time to change his mind. He made a dog with his tail between his legs seem almost courageous with how pathetically he scrambled to get out of sight.
“Well, that was certainly something!” Nadia exclaimed once the lanky mafioso had departed. Normally, she’d detest this kind of violence but the Medici weren’t going to get any sympathy out of her. “Ya sure starting a war with the single-most paw-erful Mafia in Canopy Kingdom was a good idea, Boss? They’ve got some tough cookies.”
puckish-rogue:
There’s the faintest hint of a smile on his face. He’s very much considering it. “ Nadia. ” The Boss’ tone remains calm and composed, yet you can hear the sheer malice dripping from every word he utters. Absolutely terrifying. “ How much information can you give me on these Medici guys? What they do, where they are, etc. ” The pistol remains pointed at both men; their fates still unknown. But if there was one thing you can be sure of is that one of these two was going to die. Or hell, even both.
“Well, the Medici Mafia basically runs the Canopy Kingdom-- loosely where I come from, by the way-- and they’ve been around since before said rule was even established. They do the basic gang stuff, I guess, hookers, paying off the cops, big heists, control, etc.” There was a slight reluctance in her tone, mulling over whether she should actually tell him what she really wanted to. Given that these two were likely responsible...
“Worst of all, they’re really big with human trafficking; kidnappin’ girls and the like.. they even kidnapped my adopted sister. These two specifically, come to think of it.” No cat puns this time. She was doing her best to not just lash out at the two now.
