Yep. Completely Apple's fault for not replacing your computer with liquid damage and for you assuming that AppleCare actually covers liquid damage. Unless something is touted as being waterproof, never assume any liquid-related woes will be covered by a warranty, extended or not. Heaven forbid you, as a college student, do some research on warranties.....or know something about them previously. But don't worry, I looked that information up for you.

And you should've got the idiot's information who spilled it on your comp. It's his fault and literally no one else's (unless you were sitting in a spot that would've put you in someone's way, then it's your fault).
