Have fun on the first day of your new life.

Cassie was balancing on the top of a bench, mumbling to herself as she moved slightly to keep balance. He boots sitting at the foot of the bench. “What?” She questioned when she noticed someone stop and look at her. “It helps me think.” She replied noticing someone looking at her.
“ well i wasn’t exactly JUDGING you, ” raven shrugged. “ not since my method of thinking usually consists of meditation and hovering in the air to go through those means. i’m not really on the exact POSITION to judge. ”

Superboy had run down the street before she could even finish, but he had heard her and agreed. But right now these people needed help. He pushed through a crowd of screaming people, scared for their lives. The building seemed to be collapsing on it’s self, so he didn’t have to worry about it falling on anyone. He ran up to the side of the building. Using his x-ray vision he found that everyone below the blast had escaped, but there were people trapped in the upper levels. He leaped up, crashing through a window on the fourth floor.
“Everyone! Tell everyone you can see to gather here at this point! “ He said before flying back to Raven. “I need your help! We have to get them out of there, and I can’t carry them all!”
she stood there for a moment, pondering if it was WORTH getting locked up for showing some decency and SAVING people from danger. she sighed to herself, she was passive about the accords, knowing that there wasn’t much she could do. but screw it all, she was going to RISK it. if the government thought that this was safe... well, they were certainly wrong. “ screw it,” she muttered before flying up to meet the male. “ might as well, right ? it’s worth the risk if it means these people are safe. ” it felt odd not having her cloak billow around her when she was flying. thanks to the accords, she got that taken away, to which she didn’t understand why it was NECESSARY.
sxperkent:
“Do you think the government has this under control? Or should we step in?” He asked, almost rhetorically, as one of the office buildings down the street started to groan and crumble. Someone had set off a large charge in the lower levels of the building, destroying the support for the rest of the building in the process.
“ oh by the looks of it, most DEFINITELY, ” raven quipped sarcastically. she refrained from flinching as the building went down with a B A N G. “ i really do hope that they see the irony in this. or maybe not since they didn’t exactly think of the collateral damage that could’ve been done. ”

Riri STORMED through the Gotham Police Department, a fire clearly burning deep inside of her as she sought to get as far away from the place as possible. She wasn’t sure if she was more mad that her suits were according to them, their property, or that she wasn’t allowed to use said property. Granted, they hadn’t been stupid enough to try to take it, and that bit at least made sense– she’d just make another one. No, she was definitely mad that they had for all intents and purposes, b e n c h e d her. Gotham sucked. She was almost to the door when she saw a familiar face. “…Choker girl?”
raven was already situated at gcpd. she didn’t enjoy the situation one bit, then again, who was really benefiting from this ? NO ONE. that’s who. the fact that she was half-demon pretty much had her on HOUSE ARREST. she was currently sitting in one of the waiting room chairs, absentmindedly tapping her foot. the raven-haired female turned her head at the sound of a familiar voice. “ riri, right ? ”
acurseupongotham:
“it gets dark at, like, SIX now! what am i supposed to do until i fall asleep?! watch tv, bake COOKIES?! yeah, NO thanks!” people already treated him like a child as it was, and now the GOVERNMENT was? “i liked it when they didn’t ACKNOWLEDGE all this funny business. i don’t MIND the space ships, do you?!”
“ i am pretty sure that’s what gcpd would suggest, ” raven replied, passively. as much as she would LOVE to do something about the accords, it seemed like everything was in place and there was nothing she could do to change their minds. then again, she HATED the aspect of being watched. what was this ? BIG BROTHER ? “ i will admit that there was less TROUBLE even with the spaceships around. i really didn’t mind it all too much. ”
acurseupongotham:
“are ya’ FREAKIN’ kiddin’ me?” jerome began through gritted teeth. “i gotta be home by SUNDOWN?! i’m literally months away from bein’ eighteen! i’ve been a GOOD BOY too, i haven’t hurt anyone IMPORTANT in DAYS, ‘n this is how they treat me?!” okay, so maybe his reaction was a little over-the-top, but gotham’s nightlife was his favorite. not to mention, he wasn’t a big fan of restrictions. “they’re treatin’ us like CHILDREN, y’know!”
“ can’t exactly BLAME you for feeling that way. it is a hassle to have everyone under the age of eighteen at home by SUNDOWN. i was suspecting by 8PM or something of the sort. ” in some ways, she was a bit grateful that her curfew wasn’t until 11PM. but even then, she still didn’t like it. is this what happens when she’s in gotham. she’d much prefer JUMP CITY now.

nate landed in the middle of the chaos, in his armor, turning to the nearest face, who looked as if they knew what the hell was going on. “ HEY! can you tell me what’s even going on right now? ” another shake under his feet, like an earthquake.
raven raised her brows as someone in a suit of armor landed next to her. “ oh nothing just SOMEONE thought it was an excellent idea to play some explosives, ” she stated bluntly. she hovered in place for a couple minutes, scouring anything that looked suspicious.
liestobatman:
“ FINE. it’s for an undercover cop. and i’m dressing up as a girl… AGAIN. ”
“ oh my god... AGAIN ? ” she had to stifle a laugh. “ in that case, i’m borrowing your robin outfit for halloween. ”
acurseupongotham:
“it sure is a SHAME you’re leavin’ me! but then again, more for ME!” jerome told her with a grin. “don’t miss me TOO much!” the boy added, waving the other goodbye. he turned his back to her and made his way towards the table filled with numerous treats.
ironhvart:
“Likewise.” Riri replied, blinking at the formality of the statement. Pleasure to meet you. She didn’t usually hear people talking like that, or at least, not just off the street. “Oh, I have the red open neck long sleeved top that I think would work GREAT with it–!”
raven nodded in comprehension as she continued to browse around the streets for the shop. “ sounds like it’d go really well with it, then again, i think the choker would probably go well with ALMOST everything. ”
liestobatman:
“ that’s confidential. ”
“ but it’s MY cloak. so i think i should have a right to know. and it’s not like my cloak has magical powers or anything because if that’s what you’re looking for, sorry. ”
acurseupongotham:
“oh, NEITHER can i! but i’ve been around QUITE a few rich people. not nice, STUCK UP, ‘n won’t even share a lil’ bit! not to mention, they think they’re SOMEHOW better than ya’.” jerome was referring to theo galavan; as much as he idolized the man, he was stuck up. galavan treated the maniax like objects.
“ sounds like a sad tale of woe. then again, the world is filled with selfish and greedy people. i’m pretty sure it’s part of human nature, ” raven shrugged. it seemed like an accurate depiction. either that or she was just terrible at reading people, to which she was the complete OPPOSITE. “ well i think i spotted a colleague of mine over there, so i guess i’ll leave you to the endless amount of drinks. ”
elizabethgillies:
Well, I guess somebody should get this on video…

“you CAN help me with something,” jason replied, “you can.” his voice was firm and sure, but almost with an edge of desperation. he sat on the floor with his legs crossed, never lifting his determined gaze away from raven. “how do you…” jason started, pausing for a moment as he wondered whether it was something raven would be comfortable to talk about, “— how do you control that… side of you…???” jason was sure that raven knew what he was talking about, and even if he wasn’t part demon, there were times jason felt like he could compare.
raven looked at the male curiously. what could SHE possibly help him with ? other than probably to let him vent about his parenting issues, to which she can relate to wholeheartedly. she walked over to where he was and seated herself in front of him. “ my demon side ? ” she wasn’t entirely uncomfortable talking about her demon heritage. “ meditation, usually. then again the monks in azarath often taught me how to suppress my emotions. then again, i’ve also got this –– ” she paused, pointing to the red jewel in the middle of her forehead.
