“You made me feel comfortable being me. You made me proud to be me. I’ve spent years trying to hide who I am, and the first two guys to ever kiss me made me feel, I don’t know, like a play thing. Like I was just something to stick their tongue down and it was fine because I didn’t know better or something. I don’t know. You just… make me feel safe, or I guess, right.” He shrugged. “I love you. Warts and all.”

Ryan lifted a hand to Gabe’s jaw and softly cupped his cheek, leaning in to kiss the other. “Well you’ve helped me and made my life thousands of times better by just existing so I think you’re pretty amazing.”

“I don’t get it, babe. How?”

Ryan shook his head, turning and wrapping his arms around Gabe, sliding his shoulder under Gabe’s chin and wresting his own cheek against Gabe’s shoulder. “No. That’s not true. You’re amazing.”

“No. No.” He shakes his head, faster and faster. “No. I hurt too many people.”

“I don’t deserve you, Ryan,” Gabe says sadly, stopping and hanging his head.

"Well I'm yours to hold whenever you want." Ryan lifted Gabe's hand and kissed it softly.

Ryan smiled, “Okay, your place.” He laced their fingers together and swung their hands a little.

“C-can we just cuddle tonight, though?” Gabe asks.

Ryan smiled, standing up and quickly planting a kiss on Gabe. “Mine or yours?” He whispered softly.

“Mine,” Gabe says, dragging Ryan after him.

Ryan smiled, "Okay, your place." He laced their fingers together and swung their hands a little.

Ryan let out a soft hum. “Maybe we should move inside out of the cold.” He smiled against his skin, hands moving to Gabe’s hips.

“Let’s go,” Gabe giggles, grabbing Ryan’s hand and pulling him off the dock.

Ryan smiled, standing up and quickly planting a kiss on Gabe. "Mine or yours?" He whispered softly.

“Well you have those hands.” He smiled keeping his lips pressed to Gabe’s neck.“

Gabe moans Ryan’s name gently, into his ear. He grinds his ass on Ryan’s lap. “And you have that.”

Ryan giggled a bit. Curling into Gabe, unzipping his jacket so he could get in on the warmth, kissing his jaw softly. “What? These lips?”

Gabe hums. “Those.” His hands slide up the back of Ryan’s shirt.

"Well you have those hands." He smiled keeping his lips pressed to Gabe's neck."

“I don’t know about that.” He chuckled. “You’re a pretty great guy.”

“Yeah, but you’ve got these lips,” Gabe says, climbing on top of Ryan so they’re straddling each other.

Ryan giggled a bit. Curling into Gabe, unzipping his jacket so he could get in on the warmth, kissing his jaw softly. "What? These lips?"
