24 Hour Project - Leather Lane
This week, as part of my course, I had to complete a 24 hour project while on our week excursion to London. Now this doesn't mean I had to take photo's for 24 hours (honestly I never thought thats what it was) but we had to organise, plan and shoot a project within the hours between midnight Thursday morning and midnight Friday morning. After my original idea didn't pan out I decided to use the friendship I had made while on work experience in London with a local cafe owner named Arthur and his wife Lola. I spent part of almost everyday while I was there and they were so lovely and welcoming I had to go see them again. Their business is based on a road call Leather Lane, in Clerkenwell, London. This road is well known for its vibrant market and wife range of food stores, serving food from all over the world. So from this project I wanted to capture the lively, bright nature of this street, showing the variation in both businesses and people. Fortunately for me, the lovely Lola ran me around the street introducing me to workers up and down the street (such is the closeness everyone around there) and I found everyone to be welcoming and helpful for my project. I had an amazing experience and met some lovely people. Here are the 6 images that I submitted. Any feedback would be much appreciated.Â
