That is not true. It’s not a cat, it’ll come back. Probably for food, water, and somewhere warm to stay, with a nicer owner that rubs its belly. And likes to play with him.

[scoffs]  Excuse you... [picks up Cubby and holds him close]  I am a great owner.  I play with him and rub his belly.  Jerk.  Who the hell are you, anyway?

[laughs]  It's ok, I know I can't.  Ashton and I wanted food one day, and I was afraid to even try.

Well, [laughs tightly]  Not hurt anymore.  I'm not sad.  You're back, how can I be?  [smiles and laughs softly, linking their pinkies together]

I didn’t want to lose my best friend… that’s all. *fights back some tears* I thought I would be able to help. *glances up at him* A-are you mad?

You and Ashton both... [he sighs heavily]  When I got back from the Capitol, I thought I'd lost almost everything.  You were missing, Onyx died...  [gulps hard, fighting back tears]  No, I'm not mad at you.  I'm just glad you're ok.  I'm glad you're here.

*avoids looking him in the eyes* I..I wanted to make sure you were safe. So I snuck into a Hovercraft and went to the Capital, but I didn’t find you. *bites her bottom lip* That’s all I can remember.

[pulls back a little]  How did you even get there?  Y-you were here, in Twelve when I left...

[rushes up and hugs her, tearing up]  Wh-when I didn't see you in the Games... I thought you were d-dead.
