Santa Barbara Library inspires Frankenstein themed cocktails

Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to treat yourself than with a Frankenstein themed cocktail from a local Santa Barbara bar.

I covered a hyper-local story about a Library teaming up with local bars to create Frankenstein themed cocktails. Half of the video shot was used for the broadcast and half for the digital platform.

The Parks & Recreation Dept commissioned me to produce this piece to give an update on the construction of the Cabrillo Pavilion in Santa Barbara. This piece was also used to attract other donors.

I was commissioned to create a PSA for the annual county’s annual Creek Week  celebration. I used After Effects to make the graphic stinger wipes.

I was asked to build a graphic that could be updated within the piece so that it could be used year after year. I conceptualized a ballot box and created a moving graphic with text over it.

The Parks and Recreation Dept commissioned me to create a video that would tell the history and importance of the playground known as Kids World to the community. This was a fun project to produce because I had access to so much archival footage.

This was a unique opportunity to interact with followers on Facebook that could have a real-life outcome. The Atascadero Police needed public input on their tattoo policy. I posted a poll of this on the Facebook page and then showed those results on air.

This was an opportunity I had to integrate digital, social media, and on-air capabilities to our brand. The City of Goleta was in the process of naming a new park. I wrote the article, posted it to Facebook asking followers to comment their ideas, and then I took the ideas and put them on-air.

Cat Therapy is Purrfect for Santa Barbara

If you are looking for the a place to relax and unwind look no further than Cat Therapy in downtown Santa Barbara.

This was a fun story to tell about a new Cat Cafe opening up in Santa Barbara. I produced, shot, wrote, and edited this piece. A reporter tracked it.

This is a great example of a project that I worked on while at the Kingsmen Shakespeare Company. I conceptualized, produces, shot, wrote, edited, and published a weekly “Behind the Scenes” series. This project produced about a 15% increase in ticket sales and more than 30% increase in social media attention.

Here is an example of a project I did for the universities marketing department. They wanted a sing-along version of the alma mater. I wanted to design something that was both respectful but interesting. I combined color and movement to create this.
