“Is it just me or is this one of THE MOST dramatic cities I have ever been in.” The question was mostly for herself, but the amount of antics the woman had seen in just the short amount of time she had been in this city was astronomical. “I feel like my case load is never ending most days.”
The last place Rylan wanted to be was a Gala. The thought of having to dress up and play nice with people was not on her list of fun things to do for the weekend. Thats how she found herself in the bar, drinking a beer and catching up on notes from previous cases at the Barbarella. Waving off another refill from the bartender, Rylan saw someone sit down out of the corner of her eye and quickly moved her files.
“Sorry about that. I wasn’t expecting anyone else in here.”
