Um, so here is my fancuries for your consideration post!

Toychest Pretty Cure, My latest completed fanseries, that began in September 2018 and ended in May 2020.

The story follows 3rd year in highschool Kiriko Tenoh, the proclaimed reserved and diligent student council president, who’s known to keep people at a distance. In truth, she’s a girl in who very in touch with her inner child. Toys, dolls, picture books, and a bedroom she’s dubbed her own little “Pastel Palace”, Kiriko is happiest in the presence of all things cute and that remind her of her childhood. But, she refuses to let anyone know about this interest of hers, she’d prefer to be seen as mature, even if this makes people feels she’s all the more unlike them.

One day after a visit to the library to borrow some picture books, she meets a pair of plush toys from a far away land who claim they’re on a mission to save their home, the Toy Kingdom! And so, Kiriko throws herself into the fray, awakening as leader Cure Dolly and begins the journey of Toychest Pretty Cure!

Kiriko Tenoh/ Cure Dolly- Lead Cure, the toy she represents are dolls. Kiriko is serious and practical in every way, always seen trying to find the logic and a reasonable solution in any situation she’s put into. But, Kiriko’s maturity is balanced out with a love of plushies and all things cute, a trait that’s she in truth ashamed of.

Asuna Morino/ Cure Teddy- Supporting Cure, the toy she represents is the teddy bear. Despite seeming quiet and unapproachable, Asuna appears to be quite the opposite since she has many friends and is often seen by their side, but otherwise, many see her as aloof and a bit stubborn.

Sophie Aina/ Cure Bubbly- Supporting Cure, the toy she represents is the rubber duck. Undoubtedly the most cheerful and energetic on the team, Sophie is like a breath of fresh air among the Toychest Pretty Cure, ever so optimistic and bright. She aspires to be a model and is the oldest of five children.

Mari Miyazono/ Cure Fantasy- Supporting Cure, the toy she represents is the kaleidoscope. The nicest girl of the team, Mari was always enticed by stories of the Laruan Kingdom her mom told her when she was young and always idolized Cure Cheer, and now gets her chance to be like her as the final member of the team.

I always did like the designs of @twinklecupcake ‘s Crown Jewels Pretty Cures, so I went and drew lead Cure, Cure Ruby!

I drew the fairies of Toychest as Pretty Cures for the discord server event and might I say they came out much better than expected

I draw this character every 4 years on leap year to see my progress as an artist and now I can’t wait to see what the next leap addition will look like.

#seriously i LOVE kris' fanseries they all feel so canon and they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside #kris stays consistent in their writing and she always delivers with fanseries that i get so much pleasure from reading #plus the art's always extremely cute so that adds even more to the canon feel

So there’s an event going on in the fanseries server where you have to reverse the roles of your pretty cures and fairies so Kiriko and Rani got swapped!

Meet Cure Resplendent, a stern, diligent Pretty Cure who takes her role very seriously and her fairy Kirii who she values as a trusted ally for her intellect and rationality.

oh god i have no memory posting the pic on the left to tumblr but I find the improvement between three years so...satisfying
