           SHAME floods the knight’s veins as they hit the mats again with a graceless   OOF !   fear mingles with the embarrassment of getting the move wrong again  ( if they didn’t get it soon, there’s no telling what the captain would do in his  FRUSTRATION  &  loss of patience. the apprentice was all too aware of where they could end up. )  but they roll, ending up on their knees looking to their teacher.  hazelnut hues fall on his boots out of expected  &  deserved respect.

     5.  Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered?

                                                               no. aadhya was never looked after or properly taken care of. she was given the basic care that the orphanage could. it was struggling  &  overcrowded.  having been a quiet child, aadhya often allowed herself to be overlooked. there was a quiet  RESENTMENT  in her heart, always hoping that one day a caretaker would acknowledge her sacrifice  &  give her  p r a i s e  for it.   but that never happened.

aadhya’s world shaped her to be independent--   she couldn’t rely on the caretakers in the orphanage. she raised herself, wandering the streets on her own in the times she could sneak away. this is where she started  STEALING.  young  &  easily overlooked, her small hands could slip easily into pockets to steal a wallet. in this activity is where she started to explore her force sensitivity.  looking someone in the eye  &  demanding they give her something. she thought she was simply impossible to say no to-- too cute  &  sweet looking. it wasn’t until the dreams started did she learn how wrong she was.

now, paral doesn’t think about their childhood.  the abandonment they felt  (  &  the loyalty to snoke ) fuels them when their faith begins to waver. they acknowledge that snoke  SAVED  them from a life on the streets. that they owe him their life.  the skills they learned, sleight of hand  &  moving undetected, have carried into their new life  &  new identity but that’s really all paral still has of their childhood.

37. How is your character’s imagination? Daydreaming a lot? Worried most of the time? Living in memories?

            character solidifying  |  accepting

                           paral  USED  to daydream in their youth. often swept up in childlike fantasies of one day leaving the orphanage  &  possibly even having a family of their own. paral’s dreams as a child were always nightmare-ish, due to snoke’s visits,  &  this twisted their imagination quite drastically over time to the person paral is today. they still daydream, often when speaking to general hux, they’ve found their mind wandering. but it’s no longer sweet thoughts.  they question the same thing often:  if i were to choke him until his skin turned… would it be blue or would his hair make it seem purple ?   paral is  VERY  guilty of not listening to their leaders but makes up for it in being as fast  &  efficient as possible.

as for worrying, paral finds the action to be useless.  for when you have  POWER,  why worry ?  if something doesn’t go the way they want it to they have the wherewithal to solve it before it becomes an issue. despite their temper, paral is  q u i t e  laid back.  they hold faith in the stormtroopers  ( though a little less now, after the FN-2187 incident. )  &  the first order’s capabilities.  they hold the highest standards of their own actions  &  know far better than to let anyone down. so, worrying is a waste of energy to paral. 

after taking on the identity of  PARAL REN  they completely stopped thinking of their past life. those memories are locked away in a box, never to be opened again. there is no use of dwelling on the past for paral. like worrying, they consider it useless  &  a waste of energy.  they often  QUESTION  kylo for his attachment to the past, to his family.  but given paral never had family, this lack of understanding of a familial bond is expected. paral, truly, doesn’t have much of a life to look back on.  plus, they consider their past self to be  w e a k  &  childish for hoping for a family.  they don’t care to think about the person they were.
