Ryuji always underestimates how much paper he needs to wrap something up. On the bright side, Yusuke always knows when a present is from Ryuji and because he uses so much wrapping, it’s hard to tell what the gift is so there’s still an element of surprise. ;)

Super late but hey I squeaked in time.
Anyway, Prompt: Music
One time Ryuji and Yusuke did some karaoke. Ryuji did decently except when the songs had gratuitous English. He ends up doing that thing where you mumble your way through a song when you don’t know the lyrics.
Yusuke insisted that he wasn’t much of a singer but he ends up surprising Ryuji and anyone else passing by with a very lovely singing voice.

On the one hand, Ryuji does believe it’s ugly as sin. On the other… he can’t imagine anyone except Yusuke pulling the look off.

As adults, Ryuji and Yusuke make it a point to always visit Mama Sakamoto for special occasions and holidays along with times where their schedules are free.
They also visit LeBlanc to see the Sayuri.
…Sometimes they swear they feel someone with them during those visits.

Prompt: Candles
While he keeps them out of his painting room (for obvious reasons), Yusuke does enjoy having candles. Especially scented ones. They help calm him and sometimes provide some inspiration for certain paintings.
Because they’re relatively cheap (or at least cheaper than most art supplies,) Ryuji always gets one for Yusuke as a gift for Christmas.

“Now,” Ryuji grinned showing missing teeth,” You move your arms and legs like this!” Yusuke heard the sound of snow crunching. “You see?” Ryuji looked over at his new friend.

Holiday Ryukita Week Day 1
So it’s the start of the Holiday Week for @ryukitaweek but for various reasons, I only had time to make one piece for it but I still wanted to join in on the fun for the whole week. Thus for the next few days (minus one) I’ll take one of the prompts, and write a Ryukita headcanon around it. Let’s get started, shall we?
Prompt: Ice Skating
Ryuji used to really like ice skating as a kid but worried about trying again after his leg was broken. Everyone expects Yusuke to be really graceful but… no he really isn’t in this case.
So the two end up trying to learn and guide each other.

It’s almost time folks. It’s almost time for the big event.
I’m gonna be honest, I was hesitant about whether or not I wanted to do another year of this due to covid-19. I was gonna cancel, but a part of me told me not to and to make it a holiday event and I did. Also to make up what could’ve been.
From December 13th to the 17th, we’re gonna give you the choice of various prompts you wanna do.
