Any attempt by Dwayne to help Desmond respond more positively to critique just washes off the poor kid. They are a very sensitive soul.Special Talents: Desmond is very strong and hardy, with the ability to create shadow claws to fight hand to hand if need be. Who they like better: Dwayne. He’s fascinated by his more distant parent, often wanting to follow after him and attempting initially to help in Sanctuary once he’s old enough to live on his own. This is when his heart gets crushed and he turns to animal care instead.Who they take after more: Tamo. Both are big softies, with hearts of gold though they may be suspicious of strangers and people around those they care about.Personal headcanon: Desmond actually has Down Syndrome. The only reason Tamo allowed him to move on his own is because he is actually living with close friends of the family’s.
