i can't believe that this is my first real post here.

yes this is a maroon five animals songfic, please don't take this seriously it was written in 20 minutes

You and Lyca sat in his room in Obscuary, having just finished a mission. You had to carry Ed home afterwards, which was annoying for both of you.

"That stupid moth eaten casanova" Lyca grumbled, his tail swishing in irritation. After the events of the day, he wasn't spending the energy to hide his half-wolf parts.

"At least we made it back safe," you reasoned, "Even if we couldn't capture the anomaly."

"Hmph." He grumbled, looking towards the window. Something caught his eye, causing him to stand up abruptly, startling you.

"Lyca? What happened?" you asked.

"It's... It's a full moon." He stammered out, looking at the night sky. "This is not good."

"Are you going to be okay?" you went up to him, worried.

"Stay back!" He yelled, grabbing his head. "I can't control myself."

You watched as he slowly shifted, his features becoming more lycan over time, tail and teeth growing.

"Baby I'm preying on you tonight," he growled, flexing his claws. "Hunt you down eat you alive."

"Just like animals," you gasped, taking a step back.

"Trying to escape?" he grinned, approaching you. "Maybe you think that you can hide, but I can smell your scent for miles."

"Please Lyca this isn't you," you begged, putting a hand on his face.

"You can't deny the beast inside!" he roared, clearly fighting his werewolf instincts.

Taking his hand, now covered in fur, you dragged him outside. "You have to eat something, you're not you when you're hungry!"

He clearly wasn't happy, but reluctantly nodded his head to avoid losing himself further and hurting you.

"Here, we can ask Sho to make us something, I think he's still awake."

As you walked through the grass to Vagastrom's dorm, you heard Lyca muttering to himself, clearly struggling not to fully transform.

Just hold on Lyca, you thought to yourself.

You knocked on Sho's door, anxiously waiting for him to appear.

Sho opened the door a minute later, rubbing his eye blearily. "Senpai? What are you doing? And why is he here?"

"Please Sho," you begged, "Lyca's not feeling well. Do you have any food he could eat to help?"

He sighed, opening the door to let you in. "Fine. I think I still have some fish left over in the fridge."

"Thank you Sho." you beamed, guiding Lyca to sit.

"Yeah yeah," he rolled his eyes, preparing the meal.

Lyca's eyes lit up when he saw the food placed in front of him. "Awoooo!!!!" he howled as he began to eat ravenously.

"Good," you sighed, "I was so worried!"

He finished eating quickly, looking up at you softly. "Thank you, you really saved me."

"It was no problem, I'm just glad you're okay," you said, petting his wolf ears

"You know, you could find other fish in the sea," he said, looking down with guilt. "Why put up with this? With me?"

You laughed, pulling him in for a hug. "You can't stay away from me. Besides, I wanted to. I love you Lyca."

He smiled, returning the hug. "I love you too."

Sho huffed, "Great, now that that's dealt with, get the hell out, I'm trying to sleep."

Minutes away from the man of every girl’s dream is about to pick you up at your house. You never wanted this, you never liked him, actually you’ve never even heard about this man until this moment when he opened the door of his 800000 billion dollars Lamborghini. He walks out with a nonchalant flick that makes his silky attractive hair flow in the night wind. Your parents beaming behind your shoulder, pushing you ahead acting like nothing is wrong. Inside your heart you knew everything. What luxuries you’re going to miss out on when your parents sold you to the man himself…

Before your thoughts could finish collecting itself and be thrown out the window, he’s already tucking you in bed beside him in his very expensive million dollar penthouse with his expensive hand that he has a 9000 dollars cream treatment for every sunday.

“What’s wrong?” Harry Styles caresses your hair to calm your worries.

Nothing but love in his eyes, his eyelids falling attractively in his drowsiness. The first night spending with the man of every 14 year old’s dreams didn’t go as you’d expect. In a way that you would be like every other 14 year old, except you’re like y/age and the charm of Harry Styles wouldn’t hit like how it used to. 

Staring too long at his not-so-handsome-face before you’d brush off his slim sexy hands. “Nothing.”

Though that stare didn’t break. Neither you nor your 3rd brain cell knows when his face has started to morph into someone you’ve held dearly since you were 14 years old. An old friend-, rather a very hot and responsible crush you’ve had since childhood. Yuri always loved you, in a friendly way that he never admitted. The illusion of Yuri staring lovingly into your face in endurance shattered when Harry Styles decided it was time for his beauty nap too. 

“Goodnight, sweetheart.” The voice coming from Yuri’s face barely resembled him.

Having no concluded thoughts, you close your eyes, imagining Yuri pinning you against the wall eased your anxiety tenfold. Just when Yuri’s imaginative juicy lips was about to hit your own in your imagination, the emergency alarm suddenly rang loudly right outside the room.

“I knew it… this was going to happen!” Harry Styles magically already has a 24-cal shotgun proof vest worn over his entire body. “He’s coming. Isami.”

You jolted more awake than this afternoon when the name of your favourite Yuri man was uttered beside your ear. No. Did you hear it wrong? No way your beloved childhood friend would break into a 900000 million dollar apartment to whisk you away from Harry Styles, a 14 year old girl’s dream man.

“AHAHAHA!!” The laugh you recognise as soon as the first syllable sounds. No, this time you were right. It really was the man of your actual dreams for y/age. The very cocky and kabedon champion himself, Yuri Isami!

The door was down in a half-assed kick, you swore only Jiro had that ability but NOT IN THIS UNIVERSE BITCHES. Yuri barges in and Harry Styles immediately calls in about 500 body guards to patrol. It was futile. Yuri throws a grenade at them and KABOOM. You close your eyes to brace for the next impact then feel something warm is holding you against his very hard and abs built body. You look up to see a mew maxxed jawline, so sharp, so refined, and one that you dreamt of touching… Yuri Isami’s chin.

“You were always meant to be with me, baby girl.” He flashes a cocky smile as his other hands kung fus down the body guards one by one. Harry Styles on the other hand had already left the vicinity, leaving you to die. I can’t believe he paid y/n’s mother like 70000 million dollars just to let you be stolen by his marketing rival, Yuri.

“Y-Yuri… what about the contract?” Your worried smile was answered by Yuri’s smug wink.

“I knew about that.” Yuri pulls out the contract from his blazer’s pocket and unrolls it with a smooth shake. “There will be no evidence left, we were always meant to be together. Even if the stars are misaligned, I will make sure it’ll be, just for the two of us.” In a blink of an eye, the contract evaporates into ashes and gone with the wind.

Without breaking eye contact, he easily raises you up with the hand that holds your waist and presses his lips against yours. Your hand supported yourself against his shirtless chest because he had those buttons unbuttoned at the top. His skin is so soft and smooth and muscular. You wish to squeeze his ti- I mean what???

“My kitten, I hope you never had a single doubt that I’d easily let you be bought away by a billionaire. I will be richer than him selling our little stories about men loving men.” Yuri passionately expresses his dedication to yaoi. “No matter what happens, we will always write MLM together… for as long as you love men.”

You returned the kiss and cups his cheeks. “I love you so much…” Yuri winces because you were not cupping the correct cheeks that is publicly acceptable.

“I-I love you too…” Yuri lovingly whispers back, his hand still fighting the incoming 500 body guards too by the way. “Not that I like it or anything but we can start writing wuhluhwuh too… you know? Like, Yuri?”

Feeling too sexy after saying that, he smirks and pinches your cheek.

Then he jumps off the penthouse like Batman and has you in a princess carry into the night. Yuri finally feels safe knowing he can defeat Harry Styles and paid 0 bucks to have you as his own.

Anomalous Animal Back To Nature Tour ...Date?

“This is no good…” Haru flops into the living room sofa, letting himself sink in like his heart. “The Anomalous Animal Back To Nature Tour isn't making the cut!” 

“~~~!! ~!!!” Towa nods aggressively as he snuggles in to make himself comfortable next to Haru.

“There won't be food on our plates if this goes on…!” The captain scratched his head in frustration but was shortly interrupted by the vice-captain’s jabbing flowers at his mouth. “Towa… (•᷄- •᷅ ;)”

“What about those cringy host clubs, heh.” Ren sarcastically chipped in with a mountain of snacks in his hand, looking like he raided the pantry clean. “Ughh, I can't imagine anyone wanting to be next to you for more than five minutes anyways.”

Taking no notes of his last regard, Haru rises from the sofa. “Ren, you're a genius!”

Now commencing: Anomalous Animal Back To Nature Date

Outgoing Flirty Haru

Brings a guitar to the date after reading the beginner’s guide but ends up playing the same chord the entire session 

Haru watches out for you the entire time, taking you on the exclusive 50 visits boat rides, and endless sightseeing

Overall it is quite a fast pace date with how much he wants you to see, first you were in a rainforest, then you’re faced with a maze of caves

During break, Haru brings you those super cute bento boxes he claims is selfmade. Although the cutting and the arrangement somewhat resembles the one sold at the campus’s local convenience store… (he's doing his best guys he can’t cook)

He often leaves cute handwritten notes in random places, hoping you would notice them during tours.

“The pufferfish anomalies are super fluffy in the right pond! You should check it out!!!” 

Although most of them are second entrance coupons…;; 

Don’t forget about Peekaboo being the best wingman to Haru by sitting there looking like a cutie, you got permission from Haru to nurse his son, it was your highlight

At the end of the date, Haru soon realises that the money he had spent is way more than the entrance fee for the exclusive date spinoff tour…

He was very, very into this idea as a change of branding to the point he researched into otome Ren referenced to get a better grasp of how wooing a lady is done

Playful Sunny Towa

Silliness overload dates with the expressive little flower guy

Warning: no pre-caution arm tugs! 

Towa appears before you at your first arrival, shoving a handful of flowers towards your chest that he has picked while waiting for your arrival

A very slow paced and relaxing date, the two of you usually ends up chilling or napping on top of a hill, shaded under a giant tree and occasionally changing spots

Sometimes he would doodle little pictures on the dirt with his hands

Even though the date promises quality time with Jabberwock’s ghouls, your partner goes missing way too frequently when you weren’t looking

When you least expected it, Towa emerges hanging from the tree above with apples he handpicked and you both enjoy fruits together in the evening

Towa strongly, strongly encourages you to eat flowers during breaks. To the point he sprinkle flower petals into your lunchbox with that innocent grin. How can you say no…?

Coming across a trend where you both put glue on your hand and stamp sand onto a canvas, that is exactly what you did as a little memory to keep

At the end of the day, Towa would have already decided what flower suits you the best, handing it to you with a little note attached to the stem. (with a second trip voucher from Haru hidden behind Towa’s note)

“Thank you, Dandelion! It was fun, please come again~! ❀”

Towa doesn’t particularly enjoy meeting tons of strangers per day, since it is a request from the captain

Anti-social Ren

Is still in the state of despair after “recommending” the host idea

When you first enter Jabberwock, you’re greeted by… no one. And immediately demanded a refun- After contacting the organiser, he suggested you retrieve the man himself from his room

Thankfully, a mysterious savior has picked out all the locks, now with a few words of reasoning and a receipt, Ren eventually felt bad and went on a walk with you. You did pay for his time…

Disinterested, bored, eyes glued to his phone, Ren does put it away after a while but only to judge you with small talks

“This place is horrible, you won’t know when a huge crocodile will lunge at you.” “Why did you think picking me would be enjoyable? What the hell did that annoying captain write on the flyers?!!?!”

Surprisingly takes you to plenty of quiet spots, ones that he uses a lot to hide from Haru and Towa

Instead of connecting with nature, you’re holed up in some blue cave with Ren teaching you how to play a game so he can get an invitee bonus… then gets mad at you for not knowing how to play with the fact you started the game 5 minutes ago

That pretty much summed the entire date up, a few cool new hiding spots and a new gaming partner

Ren sends you off without a proper goodbye, giving you two loyalty vouchers for your future visits

Ren’s standing in the promo photo like 🧍‍♂️ and people still pick him
