1. why do you love mermaids? i don't even remember when i first fell in love with mermaids but it's all i wanted to be as a kid. as many people will say, being underwater is as close as most of us get to flying. there's something so tranquil and beautiful about the world below and it would be so magical to live there, feeling the currents in your hair rather than wind, gazing up at the surface, sleeping on beds of kelp and sea grass and drifting with the tides.
