Characters... characters characters.. what the.. what the oc??
Although I would like to go in order of things, I also dont like going in order because that is.. just so unfun... why go in order when.. disorder brings a lil more joy? I think next i'll work on some characters, make some new ref sheets... I also, wanted to make a "Make an oc with me, Wings of fire AU style" in which i can take one of the tribe's with their AU additions!
I have mostly finished up the thunder shriek! Things may change in the future but for what it stands now, i think this is one of the better iterations of this wyvern!

Beast type: Wyvern Fulmen Diet: Carnivorous; known to target skywing, Dweller drakes, icewing, glider wyvern and may opportunistically eat fish and birds. Locations: Mountains and where the clouds gather, may also be found overseas.
autonomy: The Thunder shriek is not exceedingly large nor small, at least not compared to the Kite or the Eyelashwyvern. Though, unlike them, the Wyvern Fulmen posses a large horn at the tip of their snout that has a concentration of Copper, silver and gold. These metals can be found else where on their body aswell, such as their tail or talons. The thunder shrike also has 2 pairs of wings, and shorter stockier legs. They also have rabit-otter esk fur along their head and chest, thick whiskers around their nose and back of their head, feathered wings and the rest of their body is scaled. When flying passively they are as fast as a sky'wing, and like sky'wing have a muscle that allows them to lock their wings spread allowing them to fly without use of energy. It is one of the most agile wyvern, able to make much faster turns than any and have much better control over themselves in the air than any other wyvern.
Hunting it, and vise versa: The thunder shriek is an ambush dive bomber, and expresses herding like behaviors in which it will use the threat of it's horn to herd dragons midair. Never wear conductive metals when hunting this wyvern, and don't go alone. It is safest to attempt long distance combat through bows, or whatever breath attack you have. Using bolas or any item that weighs it down also works well, getting it grounded is much more effective than trying to fight it aloft. - First described by Overcast, Field researcher of the sky'wings. For those who are of magical advancement.. The lightning wyvern is very useful as every part of them contain an additional electrical property, though primarily magic speaking. If you are to hunting them for bounties, bring back the least amount possible as it will be much more useful to sell it to those who plan to use it in spells or potions.
Lightning'wing It is thought that those who survive a lightning strike can survive the thunder shriek, which has emboldened few skywings to attempt them solo. Through this, many have received the title "Lightning'wing" either by surviving a lightning strike or by surviving a thunder shriek. [it is most common among skywings, few icewings or other.]
Figured i'd share some of my WoF AU characters whilst I work on the "Lightning wyvern" [now deemed "Thunder shriek"] This is flicker and his partner nyx! Nyx is not my oc, but rather ssummersolstice.tumblr.com 's character :]] The two are royals in the northern ice kingdom! Flicker was born of commoner blood and chosen by the queen & king of the north to be married to their child, leptonyx! At first, Flicker was worried he would have to sacrifice a lot, and worse that the princess was going to be mean. But, he found neither being true and he lives very happily with the princess and works as a voice for the common ice'wing. Being married to the princess is seen as such an honor to ice'wings, and is one of the few opportunities lower class ice'wings get. [extra explanation; Within the ice kingdom, the queen and king(s) are able to tell who does very well in classes via the rankings, often visiting during one of the village's religious gatherings to meet the dragons they are interested in person. Eventually picking an individual they deem fit for their prince/princess]

Yoo it’s my Forb!! I finally ended up making a drawn ref for him!! I liked the idea of variant/subspecies hybrids having some issues due to like having entirely different niches, so Forbearance is a regular/forest rainwing. I will be making more Forb/server content soon!

For as long as dragons have lived, Pyriah has been tormented by thunder and lightning that hunts. The Queen of the highest mountains wants to eradicate the monster, But Soldiers are not equipped with the skills to find them within the clouds. To be continued! I'm working on the Lightning wyvern for my WoF AU! Im hoping to post it sometime this week perhaps.
