let me be clear, if you fuck around and whitewash (this includes making her adopted and unaware of her culture btw) her or turn her into a goofy ass stereotype... so help me god i see the word gypsy i will appear behind you like the undertaker and beat your ass. playing romani characters is difficult and nuanced, there is a huge variance in culture depending on region whether that be europe or globally. the vast majority of romani culture and practises remain pretty tight within their own communities and it certainly not a monolith experience. i recommend you do your research, maybe spend some time on rrumblr and most of all avoid google translate, not only are you likely to mix dialects (if you get the correct word at all) you are more than likely to misuse it. do not use my gifs if you plan to write her as someone from an abusive home she was taken from.
