@blackbarbooks gave me some âhomeworkâ to do to help me through my depressive slump and get some art started and going, and one of these tasks was âdraw a happy Kirishimaâ with âdraw a happy Bakugouâ as a bonus. I decided to throw them together because I love them and havenât drawn them in a while.
The beautiful thing about Bakugo Katsuki and Kirishima Eijirou is that they arenât just a beautiful ship, but they are also beautiful best friends. Referenced the outfits theyâre wearing in the official merchandise âmountain climbingâ series <3
Please reblog if you can! <3Â

Something that really breaks my heart is the cruel indifference that some people have towards pets or animals that they personally donât enjoy. Like I hear so many stories about someone losing a beloved pet snake or rat or tarantula, only for their friends to say something like âgood riddanceâ.
My best friend does not like my gerbils at all. She jokingly calls them vermin and teases me for being the only 25 year old woman that still has pet gerbils. She came to visit me one weekend when one of my sweet babies was really sick, and unfortunately called me at work to solemnly let me know my gerbil had passed. The entire drive home I was trying not to cry because we had plans and I didnât want to ruin the weekend with my ridiculous grief over a rodent. When I got home, my best friend was sitting in the driveway, hand painting a little coffin with my gerbilâs name on it. I immediately started sobbing. She went and got me a glass of wine, and played a Stevie Nicks song on her phone while she dug a grave. After the somber funeral in my backyard, she cancelled our evening plans and we walked to a bar, where my best friend completely un-ironically held up a glass and toasted my dead gerbil, thanking her for the joy sheâd brought me.
The point of this story is, you donât have to share or even understand your friendâs interests to show them respect and empathy in a time of loss. Itâs alright if you donât like a friendâs unconventional pet, you certainly donât have to! However, pet loss can be incredibly painful, and I think it is always best to err on the side of kindness.
Thought that Sailor Cats (adorable game btw) needed a fandom, so here is my contribution, finding out how much shells were worth
Hello! For anyone in the tag from Strange Ăons Video on Vulture Culture, Iâd like to just make a quick post about our community for anyone new here:
People who are in the âVulture Cultureâ community are interested in collecting bones and other osteological specimens for various reasons. Some people collect things because theyâre fascinated with anatomy, osteology and how the body works, and other people collect things for spiritual reasons.
Although a lot of people in the community only collect animals that died in nature or pick up roadkill, but there are also Vultures who hunt and trap animals to feed their families, control the population of certain animals (like deer), etc or even if they themselves donât hunt, they might buy things from hunters or trappers.
The majority of people (from what Iâve seen) only collect animal remains, not humans. Also, in the majority of states itâs completely legal to own human remains.
If youâre going to start collecting things, you need to look up your local laws before picking up or processing anything. For example, in the USA, all native species of birds are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and itâs completely to own any part of them including bones, feathers, eggshells or nests.
Some people in the community (like me) own parts of domesticated animals (cats, dogs, etc) but they either buy them from a reputable source, process their deceased pets after their death, find them in the wilderness, or process roadkill. Itâs pretty much an unspoken community rule that if youâre processing roadkill, you NEED to look for an owner and hold the animal for a month or more in case an owner comes forward. If someone was ever found out to be grave robbing or killing pets, whoever was doing that would most likely immediately get reported to the police.
People in this community care about the animals that collect. For us, processing, cleaning and collecting bones, pelts, etc is a way to honor and show respect to the animal, and learn from them.
Also, multiple therapists that Iâve talked to are 100% supportive of my hobby and have no concerns or issues with it, so donât even start with the âYoUârE tHe NeXt JeFfReY dAhMeR!1!!1âł bullshit. If working with animal remains made someone a serial killer then museums, zoos, farmers, etc wouldnât exist because they would all be in jail. Iâve been in this community for years and not once have I ever seen someone talk about wanting to murder another human being or torture animals.
Other members of the community who see this, feel free to add more, and for anyone reading, welcome to the community! And if you donât want to join, thanks for stopping by anyways to say hello!

Quick, did this leatherback sea turtle just eat a jelly or a plastic bag?
Plastic pollution is a big problem in todayâs oceans. Leatherback turtles feeding in this contaminated âsoupâ are very likely to ingest some of these plastics. As part of the TurtleCam project, a collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, our Anderson Cabot Center scientist Dr. Kara Dodge filmed leatherback turtles eating hundreds of sea jellies that bear a remarkable resemblance to single-use plastic shopping bags.Â
