Lulu giving Ene a locket is funny because she is rich af and doesn't understand why it's such a big deal and Ene is a poor boy who believes that if he can't give her something of equal value then he doesn't deserve her rich people gifts.
Ene, trying to reject the locket: no, this must've cost you lots of money.
Lulu: oh don't worry, it didn't. I got it from my sister's jewelry box.
Her sister. Who tragically died at sea. So now Ene can't accept it even more. But Lulu can't understand WHY he's rejecting it because he also gave her half of his granny's earrings? It's the same thing.
Ene: there's a difference between me asking my mom if I could give it to you and you taking something from your dead sister's room and giving it away!
Lulu: She's gone, it's mine now. I'm giving it to you, it's yours now so either take it and know that it's in good hands or leave it here and forever agonize that it went to some stranger's hands. I'm not taking it back.
