Lulu giving Ene a locket is funny because she is rich af and doesn't understand why it's such a big deal and Ene is a poor boy who believes that if he can't give her something of equal value then he doesn't deserve her rich people gifts.

Saw someone say that Ging said he'd make finding him difficult and therefore how he met Gon is disappointing (I agree) but it's not like Ging planned to run away forever.

Gon was gonna find Ging after Greed Island. Unfortunately, Ging is also a loser who can't handle people so he told his buddies that if Gon is gonna use the Accompany card, send him to Kite.

I'm thinking of learning how to sculpt. I want to make figurines of Lulu and Ene. I wonder if I should get modeling clay first to practice before I get air dry clay.

It's kinda weird that they're calling the 18 marines who claim to have handled the delivery of the flood control money to certain individuals, "the brave 18." Pretty sure the brave thing to do is to report the corruption as it was happening. If they did that we wouldn't be discussing this shit today.

#Gon didn't look for Ging because he wanted a dad. like we all assumed that because duh? why else would he? but that's not his reason #like... in the 1999 version at least he said that he wanted to be a hunter to understand why Ging chose his profession over his son #and then i think he wanted to look for Ging because of Ging's hide and seek challenge #it had nothing to do with wanting a dad #as to why gon didn't want to know about his mom...#well.. uh.. Lulu (oc dearest) before i landed on her most current version also didn't want to know anything about her real parents #her reason was it's disrespectful to the people who are there for her look to for someone who wasn't there anymore #i'm not saying that gon is the same but like... to frame his choice to not learn anything about his mom as him valuing his dad more is a bit #anyway. the kid doesn't really see his dad as a dad and he doesn't wanna learn about his mom because he already has a mom #i think the kid only sees mito as his parent

I'm thinking of making Lorcan a minor character in Ene's story. One of the godhands of a rival/allied country. His family's blessing is water. He is Ene's age and he likes to flirt with girls. He's just a silly kid.

Sera hates him because he flirted with Hermona, Sera's future sister-in-law, and then with Foehn, Sera's commanding officer.

I kinda want there to be an incident where Lorcan is on a diplomatic visit in Sera's country, he meets Lulu somehow and she just became his brand new crush. Sera is, again, pissed about it (why can't the little shit target someone Sera doesn't know?) Ene doesn't know if he should feel mad on Lulu's behalf or pity Lorcan and Lulu is just weirded out and amused.

Why is Lorcan the way he is? Hmm. I don't want a tragic backstory for him. He has a strong mom, a bunch of nosy big sisters, and a general aunt who raised him. He just wants a strong partner like his family.

The other option for Lorcan's bestie's background is that he is Lorcan's bodyguard. I mean, Lorcan is a godhand and just like Sera he is revered by commoners, limiting his chance of making friends. Since Lorcan is that country's youngest godhand and the number of possible peers close to his age is a grand total of zero, Lorcan's eldest sister decided to "hire" a child who can serve as both Lorcan's friend and protector.

His bestie is 2 years older than him. He is an ordinary human. He is one of the best marksmen in the story.

Seeing some response about that whole teacher thing I posted, you guys' teachers are weird.

#i've had asshole teachers and they have threatened to fail us students too but they can't because... the grading system #going out of your way to fail kids just because you dislike them or whatever is seriously more trouble than it's worth.#i mean. the dedication... i'm almost impressed if it isn't so miserable that adults are beefing with some kid #as for the university level. i dunno. covid happened. i dunno what kinds of teachers I could have met #but in my experience every teacher has a consultation time. you can visit them during those times if you have questions or late assignments #you want to pass etc #my university teachers were nice because when the class is struggling they will ask what time we're vacant #and have a... remedial study? i think the only time we needed the remedial study is for English. like for parsing of sentences. it was fun #the other remedial lesson we had with other subjects tho is due to days long class cancelation because of typhoons #man I'm making sound like our education system is good XD #i don't know if it's good or bad. i enjoyed it for the most part tho

I suck at colors so I just used color schemes to pick my character's colors

Lulu is analogous (yellow, green, blue)

Ene is split complementary (green, blue, orange)

Sera is triadic (red, blue, yellow)

It'll change at some point but for the most part these are their color schemes

#lulu. for some reason doesn't look good in purple. in theory she should #she has a long blond hair and purple is the complementary color of yellow #but lulu doesn't look good in purple #at some point ene will take yellow so i guess he'll get analogous color scheme?#lulu will go monochromatic #sera... i dunno yet. maybe he won't change

I don't understand how people can say that their teachers failed them. Like... Teachers don't pull those numbers out of their ass, that's based on the students' scores in their exams and performance. The only way a teacher can bring your score down (that I know of) is by assigning so much subjective shit they could grade you in (like art, essays etc) and failing you in them. Even that is difficult to do, I think, because teachers do give their students criteria to meet for activities like that. It's difficult to single out one student to fail.

Oh by "fail" I mean... Deliberately not let you pass? Sometimes I see this sentiment students have that their teacher is out to make them suffer or their teacher hates them which is why the teacher gave them a failing grade. It's difficult to tamper with a student's grade because their grade is just their tests and performance tasks scores' average, simply put. If you weren't failing class in the first place your teacher wouldn't have the ability to fail you. If the teacher really hates you they'd just let you pass to the next grade so they wouldn't have to deal with you anymore.

#i just feel kinda stupid when I see students complain about stuff. they're probably just venting #but they sound so stupid i'm sorry T^T #I see some kid say that “we need a high grade to pass” and that's just wrong #they need a passing grade to pass. if they want to chase a high grade that's their choice but they don't need it #and i'm stupid for reacting to some random kid I saw in the comments section #i mean... i guess it's good that students now strive to get higher grades?#but like... how could you complain about not knowing how to write a proper paragraph and also argue for the use of chatgpt?#... it's my mistake for scrolling through TikTok. i'm sorry. i'll stop.
