" لا تجادل إلا رجلا إن كلمته رجوتَ أن يرجع، فأمّا من كلّمته فجادلك فإياك أن تكلمه"

An Advice for the Students of Knowledge

Al-Imām Îbn Sīrīn رحمه الله said:

“Do not debate except a man whom you hope will retract (from his mistake) if you speak to him.

As for if you speak to him and he seeks to simply debate you then beware of speaking to him.”

Outgrow the idea that "If they wanted to, they would."

Now, move with this belief: "If Allah has written it for you, no power on Earth can take it away from you."

I've learned that even if, at first... someone shows effort, care and sincerely pursues you- If Allah says "NO", it will never happen. Human effort can change like the seasons, but Allah's decree never misses its destination. If they want to try but Allah doesn't allow it, they will still leave. But, even if they don't want to, but If it's already written that they are meant for you, Allah will turn their heart back & make a way in ways you never expected.

HAVE TAWAKKUL. Just let go, make your dua and Let Allah handle the rest!

Why should the believers ever feel shaken when they are certain that they will have either one of the best two alternatives: victory or martyrdom? their enemy, on the other hand, aims at nothing further than the life of this world. This explains why the disbelievers are so keen to achieve material superiority in this life which is the ultimate they hope for, since they have no hope in the life to come.
