Okay AHS, I don’t watch you expecting sublime writing but you mean to tell me that my guys Gavin and Matt found out their characters fate by not being able to escape the house in a nice little nod to Violet all the way back in season 1... 

Only to have Cindy Crawford’s daughter say two scenes later that it’s actually the one day of the year that they CAN leave...

Someone help me out here.  Am I missing something?!  Or was that just a really bad plot hole that made it all the way through production?

I just found a document labeled “Bullet Idea CW” and I’ve blindly scrolled past it for literally two months now thinking it was just a brainstorming idea dump in an otherwise empty file like the million others I have.  But CW is short for Cairo Week, so it was something I was intending to have done for that but didn’t happen.  I opened it just now, trying to find something to pull myself out of this months-long writing slump, expecting a paragraph of rambling notes to myself, instead to find... a fic.  

Well, part of a fic.  The middle part, to be exact.  No beginning, no ending, but nearly 3k words that was written for I Have An Idea, but You’re Not Gonna Like It (hence the misleading “Idea” in the title) that I vaguely remember writing at work.  

It’s a bit of a mess, because speed writing between customers will do that to a fic, but I think I really like where it was going!  Y’all keep your fingers crossed that this will un-stick my words so I can get back to writing.

Hii! I am absolutely obsessed with ypur blog. Anyways, do you have any favorite passing out or fainting prompts/troupes? I’m an absolute sucker for them 💀

Saaaame. Fainting whump is one of my very favorites (not all that fun irl but great in fiction!) I’ve got plenty of favorites:

Whumpee apologizes or tries to reassure the others that they’re fine or “just tired” but they can’t even finish their sentence before they go down 

A whumpee who’s just expended a ton of their strength and collapses in the middle of a battle/escape attempt and has to be dragged out by the others

Whumpee’s been drugged and they’re reduced to just confused, anxious mumbling/pleading weakly for the caretaker as they sink toward the ground

Fainting in the middle of a hug is just *chef’s kiss* because the other person might not realize it right away until the whumpee’s sagging limply into them

Caretaker trying to catch them but getting dragged down by their dead weight, forced to awkwardly steady them

Passing out from a high fever because that’s a lovely two-for-one

Passing out and hitting their head on something on the way down, because that’s also a two-for one

Or fainting and falling into a body of water, now they have to be dragged out before they drown

Fainting to fall down the stairs and being found by their panicked loved one(s) lying limp at the bottom

Caretaker hearing a crash from the other room and rushing in to find them on the floor

Fun stuff! I devour content like this XD

Unless you’re under constant stress, which a lot of people are right now. And exhaustion is insidious - it doesn’t present openly, it sneaks up on you with a sledgehammer, and suddenly you’re flat on your butt wondering what happened.
