Trigger warnings for body horror
Hunger Pains: My muse is struck with intense hunger that refuses to dull no matter how much they eat. Will they be able to regulate their hunger despite the crippling pain or will they engorge themselves beyond repair?
World of Silence: My muse’s hearing has been stolen! How will they deal with the loss of sound?
Eternal Garden: My muse begins to sprout plant life on and inside them! Their body becomes a living garden over time unless they drink the blood of a loved one before it’s too late.
Lurking Horrors: My muse witnesses eldritch horrors that others cannot see. Will they lose their mind? Will they be drawn into the dark with these terrors?
All to Black: My muse’s sight has been stolen! How will they deal with their vision blackened?
Death’s Door: Old scars have reopened and need near-constant care to avoid infection and bleeding out. Will my muse survive the curse or grow too weakened to continue before the curse ends?
Beast Blood: For human muses. The transformation begins, aggression and violence growing stronger at the start before the body begins to morph. Will they be able to retain their former personality or be lost to the curse? Only by drinking the blood of a loved one can the curse be reverted.
Muted: My muse’s voice has been stolen and they cannot speak! How will they choose to communicate on such short notice?
Mortal’s Shell: For non-human muses. Can a fragile human’s body withstand the daily life of a non-human? My muse has to figure out how to deal with all that a human endures from potentially new bodily functions to the loss of any prior power they had!
Fractured: My muse is cracking, quite literally, as if made of stone. The pain proves great and flares with movement. Will they fall to pieces before the curse runs its course?
Emptiness Throughout: My muse can’t feel anything emotionally. Will the loss of these feelings drive them to the edge or will they remain whole by the time the curse ends?
Demon’s Tongue: My muse craves raw meat and blood, their body forcibly rejecting any other foods. Will they succumb to this strange taste or will they starve?
