I’m not a very good Tumblr-er. I mean I think I was, like 7 years ago? Gonna give it another go.

A few pages of my Fast + Dirty zine. It’s about duos. A signed and numbered edition, available for just $5 on my website: http://www.sachabaumann.com/shopping/fast-and-dirty-zine
Finished my latest “peek-a-boo” collage today and I adore her.
The piece is 2′ x 4′ on cherrywood panel. The materials are 2 very different magazines from the same year: Philadelphia Enquirer and Frolic. I’m going to make a series of smaller works from the same sources. On to the next!
A peek-a-boo piece in process. Enjoying the slow progression.
Finished this week: a peek-a-boo piece featuring a large scale copy of an original collage covered with layer upon layer of tiny strips of the May 2014 issue of Artforum.
So much texture.
Progress on this piece. Having obsessive fun cutting strips of ARTFORUM and adhering them to a photocopy of my collage. And it’s big!
The next big event at Keystone Art Space will be June 20—save the date.
I’ve been participating in #The100DayProject by picking an object in my studio each day and blogging about it. I’m calling it #100DaysStudioObj. These are the first 8 days of objects.
The project has got me thinking about process, fetishizing, hoarding, creative inspiration. And it’s also got me making—I began experimenting with a new large collage.
