I’m rewatching Black Butler and I realized something.

In that scene where Ciel wanted to hit her, she did nothing. She was just scared and she squeaked and closed her eyes, but that’s all. And we already know that she has mad fighting skills, so she could easy doge that or block him or sth like that. Looking at all her training, she for sure has good reflex, and she should be able to do something.

But she didn’t. She didn’t want to look “uncute, unladylike” in front of him, even in a moment like this, when her fiancé wanted to hit her.
