Part of one of my many little altars...fall leaves my son brought to me, and the heart rock on the lower right, I found in the washer this morning. I think there is a message there for me about strength, love and renewal. I have been spending a lot of time up here in my studio/bedroom, recovering from some necessary major surgery and I feel like I am missing Autumn, my favorite time of year. The days up here are quiet and filled with lots of sleep. I am not patient with myself or my body. I want to be outside rolling in leaves, running through corn mazes, scooping up big pumpkins, riding horses and doing all of the fall things I had planned! Finding another little heart rock in the laundry today reminds me of a favorite saying by my grandmother: "It will all come out in the wash." So true. Today. The message is clear. Be strong. You are loved. Be patient. Take the time you need to heal from the inside, out. #Heartrock #sacredcake #littlealtarseverywhere
