Mizisua and Ivantill Parallel
Sua’s words in the new “ache” comic remind me of the lyrics from “Cure”
Mizisua is like Ivantill but in another universe I promise
I'd rather be in outer space 🛸

Mizisua and Ivantill Parallel
Sua’s words in the new “ache” comic remind me of the lyrics from “Cure”
Mizisua is like Ivantill but in another universe I promise
The way Mizi is unresponsive toward’s Sua’s love
:(((
Perception - Zombie Stage Theory/Observation pt. III
Talking about how colors in certain scenes represent perception in Zombie Stage.
When Mizisua preforms, the crowd sees them in bright colors. Entrapped in the performance and ignorant to what they continue to cheer for.
They’re fueled by their disgusting intentions and desires.
Colors represent the romanticizing of the performance.
But at the end of Zombie Stage, the colors switch to black and white.
When the color switches, we see both Hyuna and Ivan
The colors are bleak, a connection to how they’re aware to what is going on.
Hyuna knows how the Zombie Stage takes advantage of the performers and strives to stop it.
Ivan could also be aware of what is going on but ultimately staying for Till once again.
Bleak colors or black and white symbolizes the knowledge or awareness of what is happening.
But we also see Sua portrayed in black and white.
Ultimately, she does know what is happening as well.
As she became a zombie to stay with Mizi. She’s aware of losing for her and what the stage is doing to them.
And they reason why they were in color when preforming is because Sua also ultimately romanticizes staying alongside Mizi.
No matter what.
Demeanor Difference between Mizi and Sua
The difference in demeanor and personality between Mizi and Sua.
When they preform, Mizi takes on a childish or clumsy personality. She stumbles and trips but keeps dancing.
As well as wearing revealing clothes all to appeal to the disgusting audience.
Through her actions, she is seemingly unaware of what she’s doing, her childish behavior could be something she has regressed too and preforming in the only thing on her mind.
Leaving everything else as an after thought, including Sua.
For when Sua was about to get her arm cut off, Mizi continues to sing her lullaby, unaware of what is about to happen to Sua.
Sua on the other hand, is aware of what they’re doing.
From constantly looking at Mizi, to deliberately losing in their Round, Sua’s only focus is Mizi.
Sua has no light in her eyes, despite wanting to preform with Mizi when they were human.
She keeps the same smile on stage as she preforms even up to her loss.
In the end, Sua is aware of what’s going on, but Mizi is not.
Leaving Sua to suffer through the treatment with her love still going unnoticed.
Camera
The parallel of the camera focusing on Mizi when she was an idol and Sua.
With some of these angles, it directly objectifies her body. Utilizing exposing angles to help increase her popularity : “sex sells”
And with Sua
When Sua finds Mizi, she positions her hands into the shape of a camera.
Focusing on her body once again, as if mocking what Mizi did or was forced to do in the industry that Sua tried warning her about.
Sua then takes advantage of Mizi by kissing her, soon choosing to become a zombie with Mizi.
Knowing that as long as she’s with Mizi, it’ll be okay.
((I just wanna say… I don’t believe Sua is a bad person. It was just her toxic actions were amplified through external factors which made her act in the way she did. Zombie Stage just heavily displays toxic and obsessive love through the multiple relationships.))
The light in Mizi’s eyes when she realized she’s hurting Sua
Before
After
Hyunwoo

Sua that
But what about my boy Hyunwoo… do we get to see him in Zombie Stage 💔
Mizi’s mother’s abuse (and other stuff….?) - Zombie Stage Theory
Looking back at Mizi’s flashback… when Sua hugs her during their fight.
In this scene, we see a pink haired woman hug Mizi (which I heavily assume is her mother).
And here, Mizi’s mother hugs Mizi as Mizi stands with a bruise mark on her left cheek.
This could allude to the fact that Mizi’s mother was abusive towards Mizi at home.
We then cut to another scene where Mizi has killed the rat, the bruise mark still on her left cheek and tears in her eye.
I’d like to think that after being struck by her mom, Mizi takes out her anger on the rat or mimics what she sees at home.
But she doesn’t show regret over the rat like her mother did, just emptiness.
But it’s not until Sua arrives that she snaps out of her trance. Now showing slight horror and regret at killing the rat.
But this early exposure to violent tendencies could have stayed with Mizi as we see in the fight scene between Mizisua, Mizi strikes Sua once again.
But only again when Sua reaches out to her, she regains her thoughts and reacts in frustration and regret to what she has done.
And soon after, she flees from Sua only to be infected by another Zombie.
But now, Mizi is devoid of her emotions of frustration and anger, now regressing to a child-like state.
She happily performs, oblivious to Sua’s love and the objectification of her body once again.
Sua and the Rat
Thinking about the beginning and end of Zombie Stage.
At the beginning of Zombie Stage, we see Mizi stare at a rat (which she has beat to death with a rock).
And at the end of Zombie Stage, Sua gets her arm cut off by the executioners.
These two scenes result in the “death” of the respective characters: the rat and Sua.
And the cause: Mizi
With the rat: Mizi stares at the corpse of the rat, as if she’s unable to process what she has done to it.
With Sua: Sua loses or “dies” for Mizi on her own violation. As her execution is being carried out, Mizi is still unaware of what is being done, still unable to process as she sings “Little Bunny.”
At the end, Mizi is the root of harmful actions but she herself is unaware of the harm she causes.
…something looks familiar
Don’t get me wrong… I’m still disgusted about what they do to the main cast :((
But what
Perception - Zombie Stage Theory/Observation pt. II
Pointing out how fans view the zombie idols in color, symbolizing how they are only present for the show.
Oblivious to what’s underneath and the color practically romanticizing what the main cast has to go through.
But with Hyuna, she perceives Zombie Stage in black and white, as she knows what’s going on.
But at the end of the Mizisua Round, we cut Ivan whistling along to Mizi’s song. He is also in black and white. This could be subtle foreshadowing that Ivan is aware of what is going on in Zombie Stage as well, but ultimately staying for Till (similar to Alien Stage).
Perception - Zombie Stage Theory/Observation
The difference in perception, via the colors.
When Mizisua is preforming, the colors of their performance are vibrant as fans cheer them on.
Blind to the infection that takes ahold of Mizisua’s bodies.
Ultimately, only there for the show.
Objectifying them, even as they’re zombies but that didn’t change at all when they when human which we see with Mizi
We see this from the fan’s perspective.
But Hyuna
The person who plans to infiltrate zombie stage, the one who knows what’s going on.
She sees the stage in black and white.
Aware of the horrors that the fans are too blind to see.
Fans:
Hyuna:
Mizi’s Eyes of Love
They’re taken away from her as a connection to how Mizi lost her perception of Sua’s love for her after becoming an idol.
Similar to how in real life, you slowly drift away as your vision is obscured by popularity and fame.
Zombie Stage Theory - Luka
We know that in Zombie Stage, there are currently three rounds:
- Mizi vs. Sua
- Ivan vs. Till
- Luka
According to the Mizisua round, the loser of the round gives up a body part which will soon be auctioned (Mizi previously loses her eyes and Sua loses her arm).
And assuming that Zombie Stage follows this pattern with Ivantill, they should follow this with Luka too.
But Luka doesn’t have an opponent.
This leaves two theories:
1. All body parts go back to Luka (as seen in the second image)
As he loses each body part of his own, he gains another from each of the cast, leaving him deformed and sewn together. Stuck in a body that isn’t his own. (As if taking the most perfect part from each singer to create Luka: the perfect idol)
2. He’s already a corpse
In which he’s forced to continue preforming like in the original Alien Stage. Without any freedom or mind of his own, his only purpose for the stage.
Honestly all these theories can go hand in hand, I just want them to be happy. What happened to my silly school AU 💔
Zombie Stage Symbolism
In Zombie Stage, we know that it has a clear connection to the idol entertainment industry.
And we see as each of the main cast perform in each round, a piece of their body gets taken away with each loss.
This clearly symbolizes how it’s like to be in the entertainment industry, as well as Mizi’s idol career.
It encapsulates the rise to fame which Mizi herself experienced and the constant chasing to earn more popularity at the expanse of the idols themselves.
They continue to lose parts of themselves (which the auctioning of the zombie parts after each round can symbolize) as they slowly lose their true self.
All the while the humans or the consumers feed off of it every time until there’s practically nothing left.
((Seeing them utilize the marketing strategy of “sex sells” with Mizi makes me really sick. Please just let them be happy 😭))
