This can be so rewarding but also so draining and unfortunate if they don’t see the greatest version of themselves from within. Because once you know what to change and there’s people there willing to help you through these growing pains, you’ll realize what is the healed version of you. When things go bad we don’t stop. We build up from those low moments for the good that’s coming later.

People are always so quick to demonize drug addiction, not realizing just how easily it can happen to anybody.

Socializing while being chronically ill is fucking terrible. It hurts to cancel plans all the time bc you're sick or in pain or just have to prioritize resting instead of going out and hanging out with friends. You feel left out because you are left out. You miss out on the talks and moments and experiences with them and it alienates you from the friendships wether you like it or not.

But it's not your fault. Please remember it's never your fault. You're doing the best you can. It's okay.
