Mega Raichu Revised

So Game Freak announced pre-release paid DLC featuring Mega forms for Raichu, my favorite Pokémon. I was hyped at first, but then the designs were extremely jank and also Pik*chu and that made me mad instead. Ergo, I slapped together some alternate designs that I liked better. I built off of the letter theming the official designs have; but I'm also sick to death of the 24th letter of the alphabet (for a variety of reasons), so I'm referring to them as Mega Raichu A and K.

Beyond the bizarre antler/hair tuft kind of things on Mega Y, I pulled from an older design I made for a hypothetical Gigantimax Raichu. I made those whatever-they-are into actual antlers, jackalope-style, and made it ride a cloud like a Goku.

For Mega 24th-Letter, I super-saturated its color palette instead of saddling it with the Pik*chu palette, reverted its tails back to Raichu tails, and made its strange giant nub arms into actual fists so that it could wield its tails like weapons.

Uuuh, otter posting, I suppose? It's a dancing kawauso/Japanese otter Yōkai! I think I subconsciously based the pose off of one of the ones in the Ju Fufu animation.

WIP: DK & Pauline

First time drawing DK! Honestly, the last time I played a Donkey Kong was one of the original Country games on the SNES, and I didn't particularly enjoy it. But something about Donkey Kong Bananza just seized me in a way none of the other games have.

I based the pose off of Luffy's on the cover of the first One Piece volume, since Kong Bananza reminded me a lot of Gear 4: Bound Man. They're probably both based off of kabuki make-up, so that makes sense.

Summer's A Bummer!
