“it’s not the oddest place i’ve slept. you’ve got a loud voice, very boomy, not people-friendly.” shock sat up on her knees, placing her feet underneath her as she sat down on them and stretched out her limbs. she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and really got a look at the person next to her. “oh…you. of course your voice isn’t people-friendly.” she said with a roll of her eyes.

Oogie tried to look offended as he heard Shock’s remark but it only came out as a chuckle as he rested his arm on the head of the bench as he looked ahead then back at Shock. “Hello to you too Shock. Long time no see.” he laughed a little as he watched Shock rolling her eyes. “I mean no welcome back or anything?”

shock had fallen asleep on a park bench, not her finest moment but she’s been through worse. she’d been so tired the past few days that laying on the park bench was like a blessing to her until a loud thump on the bench jolted her awake. “what the hell? can’t you let people sleep?!”

Oogie was walking down the sidewalk just trying to grasp at all these Christmas decorations that are hanging on the street light and how there’s Christmas tree. It is a different feeling for him seeing all of this. He decided to take a seat on the park bench he didn’t even notice someone was sitting or should I say laying there until he heard a voice speaking to him.

“Kind of an odd place to sleep at don’t you think?”

No, not really. I am not the most liked guy around. I only like Halloween all tho now since I am in the Mortal world guess I’ll see what Christmas is. All tho from seeing all the decorations and what not that it’s not that big of a deal. Where are you from?

Oh great another one who likes Jack. Oogie kept a little smile on his face but deep down inside he is screaming for the simple fact that everyone seems to like Jack. But when she mentioned Sally he tilted his head slightly. “Nonsense, I doubt they would make a movie about Jack and the rest of us. Humans don’t even think we exist. Well, they know I don’t exist or so they want their childrens to believe.”

Pretty much yeah. But I like to stick around where I am more comfortable so never been to the others.

Exactly and Christmas is banned. But we do have Christmas Town.

The humans call him Santa Claus. He’s big and wears red all the time. I am not the one for spreading cheer and joy for anyone. Jack on the other hand he might since it was his fault for bringing Christmas into Halloween Town.

Oogie is surprised to hear Jack’s name coming from this woman. Then he got confused when she keep mentioning this ‘movie’ he folded his arms over his chest. “Yes, Jack Skellington how do you know him and what is this movie you’re talking about?”

It’s impossible for you humans to know what it is or been there. But to amuse you it’s a place where I’m from where it’s Halloween all year round and sadly the Pumpkin King resides there too.

Titling her head. She wasn’t sure what made the holiday so happy. This was the first time she was celebrating it. “ What’s not happy about it? The city is filed with beautiful lights. The songs are catchy.”

He can just feel his stomach turning...that is odd he never felt that before but then again he was a barlap sack full of bugs so, he needs to get used to being human and their ‘feelings’ and what not. “Sounds like Christmas Town. Everyone is all happy and cheerful and praising this Sandy Claws.”

“Gravity Falls?” It was Oogie’ s turn to ask question as he listen to this boy speak he snarled. “What is fun about Christmas? People praising Sandy Claws and actually think they will get something.” he shook his head. “I’d rather scare people and cause mischief. But that’s just me.”

Smiling, happiness in this woman’s voice it already send shiver down Oogie’s spine he never been good with positive emotions. He looked at her. “Yeah, well not to me. I don’t get it I mean what is so happy about it?”
