The entrance of Bagh-e Melli is one of the last magnificent buildings left from the Qajar period in Tehran, which is highly regarded due to its unique features. This building is one of the first buildings to be built by Reza Shah Pahlavi in Tehran. He made this building during the reign of his Sepah commander and at the southern entrance of Mashkh Square, one of the most important centers of military forces in the Qajar period. Nowadays, this gate, along with the New Gate or Mohammadiyeh located in the southeast of Tehran Bazaar (Abbas Abad), are the only gate left from old Tehran. The library mansion is one of the buildings of Negarestan Garden, which is located in the northeast corner of the garden. The library building is a part of the teacher's college's building, which was built on the site of Negarestan in 1315 and was a part of an educational complex which was commissioned by the Minister of Education (Ali Asghar Khan Hekmat) to Nikolai Markov, and the old library, in the West of the central mansion was moved to a new location. In this library, Parvin Etesami, the famous poet of the country, had been working as a librarian for some time. The library is a two-floor building with an underground, brick facade, and openings on all levels. Moreover, tiled frames can be seen, on which verses of the Iranian famous poets make an Eye-catching facade. #library #mansion #Markov @negarestanmuseum #negarestan #Hekmat #facade #brickfacade #ParvinEtesami https://www.instagram.com/p/CWynqqtsNkl/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Restoration of historic buildings for reuse with the aim that these buildings have remained unused for various reasons and its previous use is not suitable for today's life and requires a new use compatible with today's life during recent decades as adaptation in world literature. It is known and encompasses a wide range of physical and functional interventions in the monument. In order to achieve this goal, observing the two principles of originality and integrity is a set of basic points. Originality means that the design, materials, construction and environment are original and real, and since the most important goal of preserving heritage resources is to preserve their originality, it must continue at all stages of the intervention to preserve authenticity. He pointed out the unbroken and undivided situation. In this text, it seeks to find features of design and restoration of a historical building that preserves its originality and integrity. The garden of Negarestan Museum is one of the old historical buildings of Tehran, which was built in 1222 AH (1807 AD) by the order of Fath Ali Shah Qajar as a summer residence. This building is built in the style of a pergola and has two excellent mansions called Delgosha and Qalmadan Hall. There are rooms with wooden doors and two large halls on the sides of the central building of this garden. This garden has 64 rooms, four halls, a library with four halls and 600 meters of infrastructure. The halls are decorated with mirrors, gold motifs and precious chandeliers.
