There is this woman who sits next to me in organic chemistry. She’s s nurse that’s taking her last required classes to take the MCAT and apply for medical school. I have always thought so highly of her. Today she gave me a gift card for a cafe near my home to thank me for my help in class. I felt so good. People thinking of me like that is the greatest feeling on this earth, and it’s rare.

Desensitization - r*pe, abuse is no longer extreme. A man will hear about it but really, he’s seen probably tens of hours of it in his life. He knows it’s wrong but he doesn’t care. 

I would go as far as to say there is some sympathy for r*pists from men who watch violent porn because if they get off to it they are attracted to it.

What kind of life is there after abuse? My friend showed me some shit I was not ready to see of their ex’s abuse to her. It was fucking horrifying and evil like you could not even imagine. I’m sick. I cried all night.

We’re toys, we’re product, we’re disposable. I’m subhuman to these people. 

I feel violent. I want to rage and break men into pieces. I want to live a life separate from them. Fuck this.
