Why I Hate Doctor Who

Apart from the show completely sucking with all the unnecessary romance added in between the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler, it's the fandom that sucks ten times more. I'm not making choices for people; they are absolutely free to join the community if they so wish. This is simply an informative post about the toxic environment that is the world of Doctor Who. I'm going to spend all of the upcoming year and as long as it takes afterward making the Whovians pay for what they did to those I deeply care about. Maybe this will be my resolution for the next year.

Why I hate the Cars-Whovian cult more than anything

Stop sending young people to college. There’s way too much job competition. I think these kids are deciding to go to school as a way to stick it to Trump and the MAGA administration, like, “oh, look at me, Trumper. I’m going to college and there ain’t nothin’ you can do to stop me! I’m gonna graduate and get a degree so I can get a HIGH-PAYING JOB!”

Because the whole point of going to college is to get a big fat internship for “work experience” and then be the immediate first choice for hire when a “big fat job” comes along. Because these YOUNG hiring managers are only hiring the YOUNG. People exactly like THEM. The hiring managers are all 26-year old kids with brand spanking new MBA degrees fresh out of business school. That’s why someone like me will never get hired in today’s job market.

I’m too old. I don’t “vibe” with the “college culture.” I’m not “relatable” or “tech-savvy” enough. I’m not “trendy” enough. I did go to college. But I never got the opportunity to get a career. No one wanted me then, and no one wants me now. And don’t you dare tell me it’s my attitude, because you know what? I have this attitude BECAUSE no one gave me a chance. There were plenty of moments to hire me back when I was in my 20s, and no one ever did, so yes, I’m pissed off, and I have every RIGHT to be! These young college kids shouldn’t get any chances to get a good job since I never did!

Reasons to Hate Commiefornia

The car culture. People LOVE to drive out here. They always have some excuse to get in the car every day, such as “it’s my me-time. I’m never home, so I have to relax in my car.” They absolutely NEED to drive ALL THE TIME, because it’s fun and enjoyable. Their cars are their BFFs. Even employers are now expecting everyone who lives here to have a car for “running errands,” and of course it’s jobs that I check all the qualifications for and an interested in except for that one thing. I rely on a bicycle to get around because I don’t have a car and can’t afford one. Not that I want one, because I hate driving and I hate cars. I don’t trust drivers to do the right thing anymore. I guess if you love cars and love being in the car, sure, move here.

The wokeness. Cali is one of the wokest states in the nation. They allow transgender women to compete in women’s sports just because they FEEL like women. FEELING like a woman does not make them women. And then if anyone speaks out about unfairness and safety for biological women, they get shut down and threatened into silence by these sensitive little boys’ bully mothers and the government because ONE MAN’S FEELINGS are more important than those of a WHOLE TEAM of BIOLOGICAL WOMEN. This state hates biological women. All their decisions are based on FEELINGS rather than FACTS. I hate the Biden administration for what they did to Title IX. And no, I am not pro-Trump. I can’t STAND the man.

Lack of good jobs. I am already middle aged and have spent OVER A DECADE searching for a full-time career with benefits. Over a freaking DECADE! I have two college degrees. I have the experience and the qualifications. And yet every job I’ve applied to that fit my experience and qualifications, I was either ghosted or rejected from, because I “didn’t meet the qualifications” and that they chose “another candidate” who fit better. It’s always “another candidate,” most likely a DEI hire who checked all the boxes and had every single qualification that they wanted (Asian). And before any of you Karens come in here telling me, “wElL, iF yOu HaTe CaLiFoRnIa So MuCh, ThEn LeAvE,” let me remind you: I. Have. Been. Searching. For. A. Full-time. Career. For. Over. Ten. Years. I don’t exactly have the money or the resources to move away. I was born here. I have family here. I’m trapped. Torn between two worlds: moving and staying. It’s not easy to up and leave at the drop of a hat. I CANNOT AFFORD TO MOVE! I WAS relying a lot on doing DoorDash on my bike, riding around town delivering food, before that opportunity was snatched away from me by a group of fucking Indians on mopeds just because they “needed to work!” The Indian invasion has taken over food delivery in my town, and they probably chose to come HERE because they felt “safe” and “welcomed.” My livelihood was basically stolen.

Me: Yeah, like who? Transgender athletes? Because boys have no right competing in girls’ sports. I suppose you’re gonna tell me that your son identifies as a girl, is that it? I really envy this generation. They have it so good. Fresh out of college, entering the workforce, getting hired easily because they’re young. It’s customary to hire young people over older ones so the companies don’t have to worry about someone retiring within five years. They can keep a young person on for thirty or forty-plus years in the company. Also, INTERNS. Young college kids get internships at places and then they get hired for a job because they already have an in with the people there. They get to have cures for diseases like glaucoma and cancer. They won’t have to worry about ever losing their eyesight because there will be cures available to them. I have glaucoma, and I’m already middle aged. Finding a cure for that and blindness is never going to happen in MY lifetime, and I hear stuff all the time about donating money to these organizations to provide hope for FUTURE GENERATIONS? No, THANK YOU! I’m not spending a DIME on these young people! Where’s the hope for ME? They’re getting all the good stuff. They’re tech-savvy. People WANT people who are tech-savvy for jobs. They don’t have to worry about ANYTHING!

I really envy this generation because they get to decorate their graduation caps with Tangled quotes and pictures. I never had that because I graduated from high school long before that movie ever existed. I had the option to do it in 2013 when I got my MLIS from SJSU, but I couldn’t because the cap and gown I wore were my mother’s. All these other kids got their OWN caps and gowns to decorate as they so wished, but me? No. I had a hand me down because money was tight. My high school cap and gown was the only thing that was mine, but then my younger sibling wore it for HIS graduation. I really, really envy these kids. They get EVERYTHING. The jobs. The medical breakthroughs. The privileges of showing off their decorated graduation attire. It’s just so UGH!

I hate fandoms because they make you feel left out if you don’t have any artistic ability or talent of some sort. Yes I’m salty because every fandom I’ve been in, I’ve felt like an outcast. I love drawing fan art but my art is too ugly to share. Sorry I’m not a wonderful artist. Fandoms killed my friend and I hate them

I used to really love drawing. I drew all the time. But now, I don’t even want to fucking do it anymore because of fandoms. Fandoms ruined everything for me. My art always paled in comparison to theirs. Where I was simply sketching out pictures of characters by hand with pencil and paper, they were using modern technology and creating realistic images with specialized computer software and everyone was oohing and ahhing over how perfect it all looked. I fucking hate EVERYONE who belongs to ANY fucking fandom, but I *especially* hate two in particular. I hope they fucking burn in hell.
